Love Island Samantha Kenny found herself axed from the show following the end of her Joey Essex romance – now it’s been claimed she’s “livid” as “some of it was a little bit engineered”
Love Island’s dumped star Samantha Kenny is said to be “livid” over her show exit.
The makeup adult from Liverpool was brutally axed from the ITV show this week. Samantha was originally coupled up with reality star Joey Essex – but things changed when his ex Grace Jackson joined the show.
Mancunian Grace entered the villa last week as a bombshell – and has definitely shaken things up. In Tuesday’s episode (June 18) Samantha found herself single and booted from the show after Grace ‘stole’ Joey during a recouping.
Now, Samantha’s co-star has shared how she’s feeling “embrassed” and “livid” over her Joey Essex romance and exit. Munveer Jabbal, who was booted from the show last week, sat down with FUBAR Radio to share all the drama from the show.

Talking about Samantha, Munveer said: “She literally just called me about an hour ago and she’s obviously livid, for obvious reasons. Watching it the other day was a tough watch because, being so close to Samantha in the villa, you could clearly see she has strong feelings for Joey [Essex] but it wasn’t reciprocated. No physical touch, no intimacy.”
Munveer continued: “Then Grace [Jackson] walks in and smacks one right on the lips right in front of her. She obviously feels embarrassed. I spoke to her and she’s doing well, she’ll come out of this bigger and better for sure,” he added.

Munveer then claimed how Samantha feels she was “restricted” at times as “some of it was a little bit engineered.”
He continued: “She just feels like she wasn’t able to do what she wanted to and some of it was a little bit engineered. She feels like she was a little bit restricted in what she could have done in certain situations.

Munveer was also quizzed on whether Grace and Joey’s relationship in the villa was planned. He said. “I think you hit the nail on the head there, no smoke without fire.
