Is Taylor Swift to be blame for Travis Kelce's struggle against the Dolphins ?
On the heels of Kansas City’s 24–9 loss at Denver last Sunday, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is rejecting the idea that his team doesn’t have the receivers it needs to be great.

“This team has every piece that it needs to be great,” Kelce said in Frankfurt, Germany, on Friday. “Everybody can talk about whatever they want to talk about. … I know that we’ve got a team that can put points up, and I know we’ve got the coaches to be able to put us in the great positions to succeed, and that’s where we’re moving going forward, and it just takes guys to lock in and just be ready for those big time moments when we need them most.”

After last Sunday’s disappointing output against the Broncos, the Chiefs are averaging seven points fewer through eight games than they were a season ago. Although the Broncos played well and presented Kansas City with all sorts of problems last Sunday, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was playing through the flu and was clearly not 100%.

While the Chiefs are off to a 6-2 start on the season, Sunday’s test in Germany against the Dolphins may be one of the toughest they’ll face all season. Miami can score points in bunches, and the Chiefs likely will need to play four quarters of consistent football to return from Europe with a win.

Regardless of what critics may think, it’s clear to Kelce that the Chiefs have the offense to keep up, especially at the wide receiver position. Sunday will end up telling the story.

Kickoff between the Chiefs and Dolphins (6-2) from Frankfurt Stadium is scheduled for 9:30 a.m.  Sunday.
