Recently Erin Andrews had a frightening moment when on a plane when things started to get out of hand. Since the pandemic, there have been hundreds of incidents around the country where unruly passengers have caused planes to be deboarded or have to land elsewhere due to terrible behavior displayed.

Fox Sports reporter Erin Andrews found herself in the midst of one of those moments.

On the latest episode of Calm Down with Erin and Charissa, the Fox Sports reporter revealed that the Delta Airlines flight that she was on had to make an emergency landing due to an unruly passenger on the plane. It got so bad that Andrews had to flag down a flight attendant to intervene in the matter.

“We’re on the plane and something happened right behind me. I turn around because I heard it, and then he asked me… and I was like, ‘This is so wrong. This is not normal.’ I turned around and looked for the flight attendant… And I just said, ‘Help, help, help, help, help.’ The flight attendant intervene, brought the person to the front…” Andrews said.

When it was all said and done, the flight made the emergency landing to deal with the issue that was “going down” between the passenger and the flight attendant.

It may have sucked to land in a city she was not headed to, but Erin Andrews made sure to praise Delta Airlines and the flight attendants for how they handled the situation.

“I’ll say this right now: Delta, good for you. You handled it so well. I felt so friggin bad for those flight attendants. This is not their job!”

Being a sports reporter, Erin Andrews travels a lot for work every year so she gets a ton of frequent flyer miles. I’m sure she has seen her fair share of people losing their minds at airports or on planes.

Andrews once used to patrol the sidelines for the Worldwide Leader in Sports, but she left ESPN after eight years back in 2012 for a better opportunity. In 2012, Andrews moved to Fox Sports, where she continued her work as a sports reporter and host. She has been involved in Fox’s NFL and MLB coverage, as well as major events like the Super Bowl.

She is a huge piece of Fox’s top NFL team, alongside Kevin Burkhardt and Greg Olsen, and sometime in the future, Tom Brady when he finally starts his broadcasting career.

UFC star Sean Strickland went on a peculiar and expletive-filled rant against NFL legend Tom Brady over the latter’s reaction to his Netflix special earlier this month.

On May 5, Netflix aired “The Roast of Tom Brady” that featured appearances from several of his celebrity friends and former teammates. Comedian Kevin Hart hosted the event that included roasts from Kim Kardashian, Jeff Ross, Nikki Glaser, Peyton Manning, Bill Belichick, Robert Kraft and Andrew Schulz.

Brady later expressed regret over signing up for the roast, noting that it affected his children. Reports also stated that Brady apologized to ex-wife Gisele Bündchen, who was brought up during the roast even though the two had apparently agreed on no disparaging remarks about the other following their divorce.

Speaking to the media on Wednesday ahead of Saturday’s UFC 302 event, Sean Strickland went on a rant against Brady for admitting his remorse about the roast. Strickland’s rant included homophobic and misogynistic language, per TMZ Sports:

“He handled that like a f***ing woman, dude. You act like a f***ing girl. You pet f***ing goats and you post g*y f***ing photos, dude. Like, man the f**k up.”

Those who follow Sean Strickland won’t be surprised by his strong language here. Strickland has a history of making homophobic remarks, and he was suspended from Twitter in 2022 over offensive comments about the LGBTQ community.

Still, there’s a better way to express your opposing views on how Tom Brady handled himself after the roast. Considering just how big Brady’s fanbase is, it’s safe to say Strickland made himself plenty more enemies ahead of his middleweight showdown with Paulo Costa.
