Johnny Manziel was a football phenomenon who will not soon be forgotten. From the quarterback’s incredible rise to fame at Texas A&M, to winning the Heisman Trophy, to him flaming out of the NFL, he still captivated the sports world during the early 2010s.

His name is once again going viral this week involving football.

After seeing a photo of former NFL quarterback Johnny Manziel sporting a Miami Dolphins hat, one fan speculated about a possible comeback for the former first-round pick as he tagged Manziel on X, formerly named Twitter.

Manziel was quick to shut the idea down.

He explained that he simply loves Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and head coach Mike McDaniel.

In his Heisman Trophy-winning career, he threw for 7,820 yards, 63 touchdowns to 22 interceptions, and ran for 2,169 yards and 30 touchdowns.

His NFL career fizzled out with less than a full season played in terms of career games. The former first-round pick has a 7-7 touchdown to interception ratio in his time as a pro.

Manziel’s 1,675 passing yards are still good enough for 31st all-time in Browns franchise history. Joe Flacco passed his career production in just a short amount of time this past 2023 season.

What could’ve been if he actually applied himself.

The One REAL REASON Your Favorite Team Has NO CHANCE At Winning 2025 Super Bowl LIX

Making a reputation for yourself in the NFL is no small task, but one surefire way to do it—is to secure the Lombardi Trophy. There are, however, only a select few that will ever get bestowed that honor.  And… hate to break it to you—it probably won’t be your favorite team that takes home the 2025 Super Bowl!

After all, only one team can win it!

But we aren’t here to tell you who will take home the crown, but rather, one reason why every team—your favorite one included—WON’T be the last man standing come February.

What is the reason why your favorite NFL team won’t win the Super Bowl in 2025?

To win a Super Bowl – you need to have a franchise quarterback. To be a franchise quarterback, you have not just to possess the rare physical skill set but also to be a top-notch leader with the work ethic to match. And… well… let’s say it looks like a pretty safe conclusion that Kyler Murray comes up short in those two categories—and subsequently, the Cards don’t have a legitimate shot at taking home Super Bowl glory.
