UFC star Sean Strickland went on a peculiar and expletive-filled rant against NFL legend Tom Brady over the latter’s reaction to his Netflix special earlier this month.

On May 5, Netflix aired “The Roast of Tom Brady” that featured appearances from several of his celebrity friends and former teammates. Comedian Kevin Hart hosted the event that included roasts from Kim Kardashian, Jeff Ross, Nikki Glaser, Peyton Manning, Bill Belichick, Robert Kraft and Andrew Schulz.

Brady later expressed regret over signing up for the roast, noting that it affected his children. Reports also stated that Brady apologized to ex-wife Gisele Bündchen, who was brought up during the roast even though the two had apparently agreed on no disparaging remarks about the other following their divorce.

Speaking to the media on Wednesday ahead of Saturday’s UFC 302 event, Sean Strickland went on a rant against Brady for admitting his remorse about the roast. Strickland’s rant included homophobic and misogynistic language, per TMZ Sports:

“He handled that like a f***ing woman, dude. You act like a f***ing girl. You pet f***ing goats and you post g*y f***ing photos, dude. Like, man the f**k up.”

Those who follow Sean Strickland won’t be surprised by his strong language here. Strickland has a history of making homophobic remarks, and he was suspended from Twitter in 2022 over offensive comments about the LGBTQ community.

Still, there’s a better way to express your opposing views on how Tom Brady handled himself after the roast. Considering just how big Brady’s fanbase is, it’s safe to say Strickland made himself plenty more enemies ahead of his middleweight showdown with Paulo Costa.

Tom Brady Is Gearing Up For His Career As An NFL Analyst

After a year away from the NFL, Brady is set to return to television sets as he prepares for his career with the “NFL on FOX”.

Brady will begin the first of a 10-year, $375 million analyst role he signed with FOX two years ago. He’ll be working on the network’s top team with Kevin Burkhardt and Erin Andrews, with the three also set to call Super Bowl 59 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Tom Brady caught a funny stray at the photo shoot for EA Sports’ upcoming ‘College Football 25’ video game courtesy of Travis Hunter.

The Colorado wide receiver/cornerback is one of the cover athletes for the highly anticipated title, joining Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers and Michigan running back Donovan Edwards.

Hunter let fans in on some behind-the-scenes footage from Dallas’ Cotton Bowl. He posted a video to his YouTube channel showing over 30 minutes of cool content, including the shots that didn’t make it to the cover and other promotional bits.

He took a blatant swipe at Brady’s “Deflategate” saga at one point after Ewers threw him an under-inflated ball, joking that it was a “Tom Brady ball.”

“Oh yeah, that’s that Tom Brady ball for sure,” he said. “That’s a Tom Brady ball, it’s flat.”

Travis Hunter Shouldn’t Be Old Enough To Know About “Deflategate”

Tom Brady was suspended for four games in 2016 after the NFL determined that he knew the Patriots were illegally deflating game balls for him. He just admitted as much during his roast on Netflix.

While Hunter was only 12 years old when the scandal occurred, he’s very well aware of one of the biggest NFL controversies of the 2010s. It’s also likely he tuned into the roast, which Brady has since said he regrets.

The video game is set to launch for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on July 19. A trailer was also released on Friday.

Hunter, one of the first high-profile athletes to opt into the game, is headed into his second year with Colorado and is projected to be a high first-round draft pick in 2025. He will hope to play as much as he can on both sides of the ball, which hopefully won’t be a “Tom Brady” one.
