Samantha Kenny has been axed from Love Island but fans think she’ll be back very soon.
Bombshells Wil Anderson, Tiffany Leighton and Grace Jackson got to make their choices first during the latest recoupling in Tuesday’s (June 18) episode of the ITV2 dating show.
Omar Nyame was the last boy to pick and he had to decide between Samantha and Jess White. However, after some deliberation, he decided to couple up with Jess. After Omar shared his decision, Nicole received a text stating that Samantha was now single and therefore dumped from the island. Harriet and Nicole bursted into tears as they tried to digest the shock news.
An uncomfortable Joey tried to speak to Samantha as she packed her suitcase with the girls but Samantha told him she wasn’t interested to hear what he had to say. The latest dumping caused a stir online with some fans begging bosses to sign Samantha up for Casa Amor.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan penned: “Anyone else think Samantha might return for casa???” Another added: “What a queen this girl is. So glad she didn’t give Joey and Grace the time of the day at the end . Bring this girl back for CASA AMOR she deserves better.”
A third person said: “@LoveIsland bring Samantha back for casa amor BOOM!!” A fourth social media user said: “If the producers wants that BAG this season they will bring Samantha back for casa amor!! WATCH my girl needs her lick back.”
It comes after Samantha threatened to quit the show after her partner Joey snogged his ex Grace Jackson in front of her. Joey, who was paired with Samantha at the time, was chosen by model Grace for a night outside of the villa on Sunday (June 16) after she made her bombshell entrance last week.
Joey, 33, and model Grace, 25, were all over each other, sharing passionate kisses on both Sunday and Monday’s (June 17) episodes. When he returned to the main villa, Samantha was hurt that Joey seemed to ignore her and didn’t immediately pull her aside for a chat. But it only got worse for her as the episode went on.
The pair had a heart-to-heart, where Joey confessed he had kissed Grace, leaving Samantha feeling used and embarrassed. Joey suggested to Grace that they should spend the night in the Hideaway – a twist this series allows Islanders unlimited access without needing approval from their fellow contestants.
In the heat of the moment, Joey pulled Grace into a passionate kiss, much to the shock of several Islanders, while Samantha remained oblivious. After viewing the kiss, the other Islanders believed it was necessary to tell Samantha, who was fuming.
