Justin Bieber thinks Eminem “doesn’t understand” modern rap
Justin Bieber is defending the rap artists of his age. The musician defended “the new generation of rap” using lyrics from Eminem’s 2018 song “The Ringer,” which he uploaded as a snapshot of his iTunes playing on his Instagram Story on Wednesday. “I just like Ems flow, but I don’t like that he’s dissing new rappers,” Bieber added. He just doesn’t get the new generation of rap music, which I appreciate.” View the Genius post below.
“I heard your mumblin’ but it’s jumbled in mumbo-jumbo / The era that I’m from will pummel you, that’s what it’s comin’ to / What the fucƙ you’re gonna do when you run into it? /” he sings later in the song, but he becomes more scathing. I’m going to crush you and steаl the second one.”
Even if he’s not the most well-known rapper right now, Eminem is nonetheless in demand: By pure album sales, he was 2018’s best-selling musician, according to Buzz Angle Music. When Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande performed live at Coachella, he came under fire for seemingly lipsynching to his Һit song “Sorry.”
