ESSICA Biel has praised her husband Justin Timberlake as their family’s rock a day before the pop star’s DWI arrest.

On Monday, Justin, 43, was arrested in Sag Harbor, New York due to driving while intoxicated.

On Sunday, a day before the incident, the Selfish singer shared a sweet message about his sons on Instagram in honor of Father’s Day.

The Nsync alum posted photos showing himself with his and Jessica’s sons Silas, nine, and Phineas, three, with the caption, “My 2 greatest gifts.”

He continued, “I learn more about myself everyday just because you both chose me to be your Daddy. I will always be there for you through your peaks and valleys… to lift you up and show you how high you can take this life and to pick you up when you fall.

“And, of course, to flood you with insufferable Dad-jokes all along the way. I love you both so much.”

“Thank you for giving me my biggest purpose,” he added.

Justin concluded by jokingly writing, “Now… for today: let’s play a game where we all just chill and let Dad watch the final round of The US Open.

“Cheers to all the Dads out there Dad-ing! I salute you!”

Jessica, 42, posted a Father’s Day tribute to Justin on her Instagram.

The Candy actress shared pics of Justin with Silas and Phineas and one cute selfie of her and Justin together.

The caption read, “You’re so many things to so many people. But to us you are THE ROCK. The rock we climb on, we lean against.

“The rock that shades us from the sun. And when we recline on you, as we always do, hopefully our butts will keep you eternally grounded and warm. We LOVE YOU.”

JUSTIN’S ARREST

A day after the sweet Father’s Day messages, on June 17, 2024, Justin was arrested in Sag Harbor, New York due to his driving while intoxicated.

Sag Harbor is a town located in the Hamptons area of Long Island.

After meeting friends for a party at the American Hotel, he was taken into custody.

Around midnight, the Grammy winner and his friends parted ways and shortly after leaving the restaurant, Justin was pulled over by police.

He was stopped because of a traffic violation.

“Nobody was hurt and there was no drama at the scene,” an insider told TMZ.

“Justin was out to dinner with friends and there were cop cars stationed outside the restaurant like they are most nights.

“They look for people who are leaving after midnight who might have been drinking.

“Justin left at 12:30 am and was pulled over as soon as he left.”

Police further explained that the SexyBack singer was swerving and failed to heed a stop sign.

While he was pulled over, cops said they attempted to perform a field sobriety test.

However, Justin refused both the test and the breathalyzer.

Despite the protest of his friends, he was put in cuffs and hauled away.

COURT APPEARANCE

On June 18, 2024, Justin was arraigned at Sag Harbor Village Justice Court.

On Tuesday morning, he was charged with one count of DWI and released without bail.

Justin was also cited for running a stop sign and failing to keep in his lane.

His next scheduled court appearance is listed for July 26, 2024.

He and Jessica Biel split their time between Los Angeles, New York, and Big Sky, Montana.

FINDING BALANCE

Last month, Jessica opened up about the struggles in her marriage to Justin as they “try to find the balance” as he embarked on a world tour.

Jessica appeared on The View to talk about her new book, A Kids Book About Periods.

After talking about the book, co-host Sara Haines pivoted to Justin.

“Your husband, Justin Timberlake, just started a big summer tour for his new album,” Sara, 46, said.

Justin released his sixth studio album, Everything I Thought It Was, on March 15.

“And you and the kids have been going to his first few concerts.”

“But, I know you have your own huge career and you’ll be working. How do you guys handle it when you are both away from each other?” the host wondered.

Justin’s Forget Tomorrow Tour goes across America this Summer and international the rest of the year, ending in December.

“It’s always a work in progress,” Jessica relied.

“It’s constantly trying to find the balance, trying to find the time we can connect.”

Jessica said that she is thankful for Zoom and Facetime, which she calls helpful.

“Just finding a time where we can connect and see him in person and get him with the kids,” the actress said.

“We’ve never done this before with two, so I don’t know. I’m already exhausted and there’s been four shows.”

“I don’t know how he’s going to do it. I don’t know how we’re going to to do it, but we’re going to get through it, somehow, some way,” she ended.
