FAMILY Feud host Steve Harvey has been slammed by fans for supposedly setting up contestants to fail.

On Thursday’s episode, viewers watched players take on a difficult round of Family Feud, which supposedly included a major error on the board.

Standing at the center stage, Contestant Hayley seemed nervous as she competed for $20,000 during the Fast Money segment.

Haley froze as she struggled to come up with an answer.

“I…pass…” she said while tightening her eyes.

Steve then asked for “a word that rhymes with wink,” then to name “a type of cheese with a funny name,” and finally picked “something else that gets caught in a tree besides a cat.”

When it was time to reveal the answers on the board, Steve claimed Haley had previously said, “Look,” but she passed.

She lost points for the wrong answer anyway.

THE BACKLASH

In an online thread, critics jumped to the comments section of the YouTube account and pointed out that these were trickily worded questions for the contestant.

“I feel like leading the question off with ‘besides a cat’ is tricky because your mind automatically thinks of an animal,” one critic mentioned.

“Those were some really HARD questions…” another critic added.

Before coming upon contestant Connor, the comedian braced for what might come.

“Your girlfriend’s watching,” he warned the player.

“My girlfriend’s friend,” Connor replied.

His response made the audience gasp and laugh.

Steven shook his head before turning to the board.

All of a sudden, the buzzer sounded.

Not only did Connor make an intimate confession in front of the camera, he came up with the wrong answer.
