Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark had a special guest for her game against the Minnesota Lynx
The Indiana Fever secured a hard-fought 81-74 victory over the Minnesota Lynx on Sunday afternoon. Despite not having her best shooting performance, star rookie Caitlin Clark contributed significantly with 17 points, six assists, and three rebounds, shooting 5/17 from the field.
This win was particularly impressive given the Lynx’s standing as the team with the best record in the Western Conference at the time. The victory marks the Fever’s second consecutive win, showcasing their resilience and determination in a challenging matchup.
Clark had a special guest at this game, as her former Iowa Hawkeyes teammate Monika Czinano was in attendance. Sharing a picture with Czinano on her Instagram story, Clark sent a three-word message to their former teammate Kate Martin, jokingly asking the Las Vegas Aces rookie if she is jealous:
On Sunday, while Clark led the Indiana Fever to a gritty 81-74 victory over the Minnesota Lynx, Martin and the Las Vegas Aces were also in action, securing a win against the Washington Mystics. Martin contributed three points in her nine minutes of play.
Having some fun with her former teammate, Clark asked if she was jealous that Czinano pulled up to the Fever vs. Lynx game. Clark and Czinano were able to celebrate a Fever victory together after Indiana erased an eight-point Minnesota lead to make it two-straight wins
