The eagerly awaited WNBA debut of Caitlin Clark is drawing near.

What is the price of admission to Caitlin Clark’s WNBA regular season debut? Tickets for the Indiana Fever’s opening regular-season matchup against the Connecticut Sun on Tuesday are selling quickly. You should budget for a significant amount of money if you intend to attend Caitlin Clark’s WNBA regular season debut.

Starting in 2024, Clark and her Indiana Fever will play the Connecticut Sun in Mohegan Sun Arena. Based on the cost of tickets, it appears that “The Caitlin Clark Effect” is still very much in effect.

However, that should not discourage you as some cheap tickets are still available.

According to SeatGeek, the cheapest tickets to see Clark’s debut will run you about $95, which isn’t that bad considering the hype around Caitlin Clark.

The total cost of a ticket is $300 on average. The Fever-Sun has several portions offered for between $260 and $320. A ticket would cost you at least $1,700 if you wanted to sit courtside.

In addition to shattering the all-time scoring record in college basketball, Clark brought women’s basketball to a new level and attracted millions of new supporters. It’s anticipated that once she begins her professional career, her popularity will only grow.

One could argue that, out of all the major sports, her debut is among the most awaited of the last few years. Prior to the Indiana Fever picking her with the first overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft, the talented guard dominated collegiate hoops at Iowa.

On Tuesday, May 14, Clark will play her first WNBA game away from home against the Connecticut Sun. The game is set to begin at 7:30 p.m. ET.

On Friday, May 3, she made her preseason debut against the Dallas Wings. Despite her 21 points from five 3-pointers, the Fever fell short due to Arike Ogunbowale’s game-winning basket.
