Caitlin Clark has gotten off to a not-so-great start in the WNBA.

The 2024 No. 1 overall pick has yet to experience victory in the pros, with the Indiana Fever 0-5 ahead of Friday’s clash against the Los Angeles Sparks.

Things aren’t expected to get easier just yet, as teams are likely going into games against the Fever with the aim of making life difficult for the rookie, who’s also been pretty banged up.

It appears the adjustment is taking a bit of a toll on the former Iowa Hawkeyes star, as she looked dejected and exhausted while speaking to a reporter ahead of tonight’s game.

Check it out below:

The clip has left fans concerned, with some giving voice to their worries.

“I’m the only one kind of concerned here? I think the pressure and hate actually got her…” one wrote.

“she looks so tired omg pls leave that girl alone yall,” another remarked.

“It must be so F- ing annoying hearing the exact same question over and over ! Whether it is how her game is gonna translate to the WNBA or how does she deals with all the pressure,” added another.

It’s probably A Little Too Early To Start Worrying About Caitlin Clark

Caitlin Clark is certainly not having an easy ride, but she could have just been tired after a hard practice session. The Fever will be keen on winning their first game after losing their first five and are likely putting extra work in to stop the rust.

They play the Sparks in Los Angeles at 10:00 PM ET tonight.

According to recent reports by Shams Charania, an NBA insider and analyst for The Athletic, JJ Redick is the frontrunner for the Lakers’ head coach opening. Charania made this statement on Friday at The Pat McAfee Show. He mentioned that Redick met with the Lakers last week, making him the first person the team has directly interviewed for the position.

“I’m told last week that the Lakers met with JJ Redick in Chicago at the draft combine. They met for an extended period of time to really get to know him and spend time with him. He was the first candidate to really do a face-to-face meeting.” Charania said.
