Although Travis Kelce has not made his political opinions or party affiliation publicly known, there is evidence to imply that he has a predisposition.
He was among the first white NFL players to protest alongside Black Lives Matter by kneeling during the playing of the national anthem in 2017. It was a move that shocked the predominantly conservative football community.
But last month, after he was seen “liking” an Instagram photo of Donald Trump’s night out at UFC 299, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end received a lot of heat. Sage Steele, a former ESPN anchor, uploaded the disputed post last month. Steele posted a number of images and videos from the fight. One showed herself and Trump shaking hands, while another was of the former president watching the fight from the ringside.

The three-time Super Bowl champion has starred in a commercial for the vaccine. He also made endorsements for Bud Light, particularly after the company was the target of right-wing boycotts because of its partnership with transgender TikTok star Dylan Mulvaney.
Additionally, he has demonstrated a willingness to parody the ridiculousness of some facets of conventional masculinity. In 2023, for example, he hosted Saturday Night Live and participated in a sketch titled “Straight Male Friend.”

Over his 11 seasons, Kelce has amassed 907 receptions. His current ranking on the all-time list is No. 25. After two wide receivers, he is ranked third among active players. With 914 catches, Julio Jones is directly behind him at No. 24, while DeAndre Hopkins is tied for 21st place with 928 receptions, Profootballreference.com.
