And after the billionaire songstress brought down the curtain on the epic show, she and her team tucked into thousands of pounds worth of Greggs grub, including hundreds of sausage rolls, steak bakes and sweet treats, after the bakery brand was asked to cater backstage, stadium insiders revealed.

The high street pastry producers’ distinctive blue and yellow bakery van was spotted around Edinburgh yesterday afternoon.

And the truck, which had a glitzy makeover branded with Taylor themed puns – like ‘this is our place, we make the rolls’ – and bedecked with sequins, later headed into Murrayfield, where the Grammy-winning singing star smashed through her hits.

A stadium insider said: “I couldn’t believe it when I saw the Greggs van rolling up to feed Taylor and her crew.

“You’d expect a billionaire to be ordering champagne and caviar but the fact she’s got sausage rolls and steak bakes is amazing, she’s gone right up in my estimation.

“Who doesn’t love a Greggs sausage roll?”

Before it arrived to feed the hungry crew, the van drove round the city stunning punters who stopped and stared at the pimped out Swift-mobile.

Tourists and locals alike enjoyed a shock pit stop to take a photo with the flashy motor.

One visitor leaving Edinburgh Castle said: “I had to do a double take there.

“You don’t expect to see that in the middle of the street.”

And Abbi Fox, 20, Uddingston, who works at McDonald’s, said “I noticed the van on the motorway and spotted it going into Murrayfield. It was so slay. I love Greggs. I feel like Taylor Swift would love Greggs too.”

Fans were also buzzing on social media when they spotted the vehicle.

One said: “Made my day, my two favourite things this weekend, Greggs and Taylor Swift – see you Saturday in Edinburgh Swifties, with a sausage roll in my hand.”

Another, who spotted the van being driven on the back of a trailer towards the capital, said: “Please be on the way to Edinburgh.”

And another fan joked: “not Taylor Swift in her Greggs era!”

On previous tour dates the Love Story performer is said to have splashed out thousands on local delicacies, giving her entourage the five star treatment.

According to a new report, Swift is said to have spent more than £200,000 on food on just two stops of the Eras Tour’s European leg.

In Lisbon, the 34-year-old musician is reported to have ordered in Portuguese barbecue, known as frango de churrasco, as well as a giant order of 1,000 “pasteis de natas”, the famous Portuguese egg custard tarts.

Asked about the epic catering job, a Greggs spokesman said: “Wouldn’t that be amazing, we couldn’t possibly confirm.”
