Michael Jordan vs Tom Brady Net Worth Comparison 2022: Which Sporting Legend Is Richer? - EssentiallySports

A video of Michael Jordan and Tom Brady playing pickup basketball with a bunch of kids in the Bahamas and trash-talking them has resurfaced this week and is going viral.

Those kids are likely all grown men now, but they’re unlikely to forget that they once played against the GOATS of both basketball and football in the same game. How unreal is that?

They got the full package from MJ too. Apart from being an incredible talent when it came to putting the ball in the basket, the former Chicago Bulls and Washington Wizards star was an avid trash-talker.

The group of kids got a bit of both from the six-time NBA champion, who hit a neat mid-range fadeaway before telling the kids to go check his career out on YouTube. We imagine they already knew enough, but that’s MJ for you.

There’s a bit more in the video below, where you could see Brady hitting a jumper himself, which shouldn’t be surprising. The guy has a remarkable arm.

Brady was on his fourth Super Bowl victory at the time, having just won with the New England Patriots that year. He probably wouldn’t have imagined he would get three more before retirement, but that’s exactly what ended up happening.

Mavericks No Show in NBA Finals Game 1 Against Celtics Leads to Unexpected Drop in Viewership

The 2024 NBA Finals clash was expected to be exciting between the Dallas Mavericks and Boston Celtics, but the same didn’t show in numbers. According to Sports Media Watch’s reports, Thursday night’s game recorded an average of 5.7 rating and 10.99 million viewers on ABC, which is the least views any Finals Game 1 has registered since 2007.

Both ratings and viewership dropped 5% compared to the 2023 Finals Game 1. Last year, the Nuggets and Heat captured 6.0 and 11.58 million on ABC and ESPN2, whereas the Warriors and Celtics successfully brought in 6.4 and 11.90 million in 2022.

Considering the huge followers that the Celtics have and the growing fan base that Mavs’ Luka Doncic is acquiring day by day with his exceptional performance, much higher numbers were anticipated for the final matchup.

One reason could be the Cs’ dominance, outscoring the Western team by 21 points in the first half. This upset the Mavs fans and the Boston rival fans, who didn’t wait up to watch the Dallas team get beaten by 89-107.
