During an interview with Kay Adams, Durant was asked who, according to him, would perform better as an NFL tight end between him and the Warriors veteran. KD quickly responded by saying, “Me. You seen Draymond’s footage? It looks terrible. Draymond played one spring game with Michigan State. I guess he was talking trash to all the players so they told him to come out for the spring game. And he looked horrible.”
Kay Adams: “Who would make a better tight end, you or Draymond Green?”
Kevin Durant: “You seen Draymond’s footage? It look terrible.”

The interviewer pointed out his difficulties as a TE because of his 7-foot-2 height. Durant justified his point by saying he took up the guard’s role in the NBA so that it wouldn’t be hard for him.
Green played football in 2011 but couldn’t make his mark in the offense. Everything Durant said was with a smile, as he shares a good bond with Draymond. I wonder what the four-time champion would say on his podcast when the statements reach his ears.
For now, Durant is enjoying his time with his USA teammates in Las Vegas and will soon be seen in the Olympic tournament. While talking about his teammates, the Suns’ forward disclosed their future.
Kevin Durant Opens Up About USA Teammates’ Futures
The basketball fans were excited to see LeBron James and Steph Curry show their magic on the hardwood. Even the duo did not fail to entertain with their flawless basket. To raise their excitement, Kevin Durant assured them the veterans still possess a lot of play to keep them going.
Following Team USA’s exhibition game against Canada, Durant stated, “I mean, these guys are still playing at elite level, you know. Like Bron could play four or five more. It might be here in 28 in LA, you know. Steph still playing great ball, I’m doing alright too. So I don’t want to look at it that way. I think we still got some good ball in the tank.” (At 50 seconds)
Kevin Durant didn’t get an opportunity to show up in the game, but he will undoubtedly set the court on fire when he steps on it. The team has the best chance of bagging the gold medal this year because of their star lineup.
