Kansas City Chiefs rookie wide receiver Xavier Worthy will try his best to help his new team win a third successive ring next season. But he’s putting a ring on it in the meantime.

The wideout, who stunned everyone at the NFL Scouting Combine earlier this year, left his girlfriend, Tia Jones, teary-eyed after popping the question on a beach.

Jones, a United States track and field star, said yes to Worthy, as expected. The two have since shared a video of the life-changing event on social media. The clip below shows the WR leading Jones towards the beach, where a large number of roses and candles spelling out “Marry Me” were waiting.

He then got down on one knee and presented her with a ring bearing a huge diamond.

Xavier Worthy Could Have A Huge Rookie Season With The Chiefs

Xavier Worthy was the Chiefs’ first-round pick this year after a standout period at UT. He is one of the most electrifying prospects to come through the draft and could be a difference-maker for KC in 2024.

The defending champs need all the help they can get, given Rashee Rice’s incoming suspension.

Meanwhile, Tia Jones attended qualifications in the 100-meter hurdles ahead of the Olympic games but did not make it.

The couple revealed another significant achievement last week, having bought themselves a home.

“We are home owners 🏡🔑Super blessed to be able to experience buying a home with the person you love!! Nothing more important than family and building a foundation!” Tia shared to IG.

We need to see them race each other now.

Marvin Harrison Jr. is drawing plaudits online following the surfacing of a ‘Hard Knocks’ video showing the New York Giants trying to get him to throw his former teammate under the bus.

Harrison Jr. was shown going over footage from his Ohio State days with Giants wide receivers coach Mike Groh. One of the clips shows the former Buckeyes wide receiver beating his man and quarterback Kyle McCord overthrowing the potential touchdown pass.

Groh tried to get Marvin to blame his QB, but the rookie refused to.

“You beat a guy like this, got a chance for a touchdown. He underthrows it. What are you coming back to the huddle saying to him?” Groh asked.

“Oh, I don’t say nothing to quarterbacks,” Harrison replied.

“I mean, that’s a s*** throw, right?” Groh pressed.
