Deion Sanders recently made his feelings clear on Nick Saban’s wife, Terry Saban.

Coach Prime was a guest on ‘The Joel Klatt Show’ where he discussed his relationship with the Sabans, claiming Terry could teach women a “masterclass” on how to be a supportive partner.

Sanders and Saban maintain a good relationship, although there was some friction after the former Alabama coach criticized his recruiting methods a few seasons ago.

The former has always spoken highly of the latter, lauding his mentorship every chance he gets.

“I’m like a kid in a darn candy shop,” Primetime said. “I’m sitting Indian-style asking him, ‘Coach, can you tell me about this? Can you tell me about that?’ I’m serious. I just keep it going. All I need is, ‘And?’ That keeps it going… Oh my God, I love him and Terry, his wife Terry.

“I don’t mean to call her by her first name, Mrs. Saban, she needs to teach a masterclass on how to do it with all the women that are along aside the man.”

“She is unbelievable. Just to get your butt kicked and you go back and you look on your phone, and you’ve got a message from Miss Terry. It’s unbelievable.”

Deion Sanders And Nick Saban Bonded During Their Commercial Endeavors

Deion Sanders noted that he and the Saban family developed a bond during their first meetings while shooting Aflac commercials.

“He means so much to me personally as a man,” he remarked. “And just watching him from near and far and being able to have access to pick up a phone and call him whenever I would need him … I hate that we lost him for college football’s sake.”

Saban retired from coaching at the end of last season. He will begin a new role as a college football analyst for ESPN next season.

Sanders, meanwhile, is heading into his second season as a Power 5 coach after taking over at Colorado in late 2022.
