Cameron Brink is taking the WNBA by storm with her performances in her rookie season. The Sparks forward’s history with Stephen Curry is no stranger to anyone, which only proves why she’s a baller. Due to growing up with the Warriors guard, Brink never got the chance to have her fan girl moment, but finally, it came on the court of the WNBA, thanks to Jimmy Butler.

After Friday night’s game between the Sparks and the Dallas Wings, Jimmy Butler met with Brink. As the footage shows, Brink was overwhelmed seeing the Heat star up close and the pair shared a hug before posing for the cameras.

Brink scored a double-double, consisting of 10 points and rebounds each in the 81-72 victory. The former Stanford forward’s night ended on a fabulous note when she caught a glimpse of her favorite player.

During a recent interview, Brink was given a choice to pick one player from multiple pairs, but the Sparks rookie stuck with Jimmy Butler till the end, saying, “I love Jimmy, Jimmy Butler!”

Their first on-screen interaction became a viral one and soon the NBA enthusiasts jumped in to show their excitement over the surprising link-up.

Social Media Reacts to Jimmy Butler X Cameron Brink Moment

As soon as Bleacher Report posted the video of Brink meeting Jimmy Butler, fans hopped in to express their opinion. Here are some of the comments posted on X (formerly known as Twitter):

One fan wrote, “jimmy out here doin side quests.”

“We know what you doing Jimmy,” another added.

“Damn she the same height as Jimmy 😭 She’s 6’6,” remarked an astonished fan.

Some indicated something more than a casual meet up and commented, “Jimmy knows what he doing and I respect it.”

“Are the women understanding what the guys are doing? Like, are they in on it, naive, or just don’t plain care. It’s not important, I’m just curious,” one fan explained the subtle indications.

Height was on the agenda of a fan who wrote, “He did that weird pose at the end so he could look taller than her lol.”

Jimmy Butler’s trip to California is rather an interesting one as rumors already are linking the Heat ace with the GSW, aside from interest from the 76ers and the Cavs. Amid the uncertainty growing over Butler’s situation in Miami, things could escalate quickly, which may lead to Jimmy Butler moving to the West Coast permanently.

As for Cameron Brink, her next game will be against the Las Vegas Aces on Sunday, where she’ll look to continue her impressive start in the WNBA.

Kristaps Porzingis is reportedly nearing full recovery from his injury. He was a full-participant in practice is expected to return for Game 1 of the NBA Finals against the Dallas Mavericks. However, a recent response from the Celtics’ power forward has left some uncertainty among fans.

During a recent press conference, Porzingis took a noticeable 10-second pause when asked if he was running pain-free. After this brief moment, he smiled and said, “Yes.” Though seemingly joking, the pressure and anxiety were evident on his face.

This moment has left fans wondering about the true state of his recovery and whether he will be at his best for the crucial upcoming games.

Porzingis has been sidelined throughout the conference finals due to a right soleus strain, an injury he sustained during the first-round series against the Miami Heat. The injury was non-contact, often indicating a strain or tear requiring careful management and recovery.

Kidd Praises Kristaps Porzingis’ Short Stint with Mavericks

As the Dallas Mavericks prepare to face off against the Boston Celtics in the upcoming NBA Finals, there’s an interesting subplot involving Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd and Celtics star Kristaps Porzingis. Kidd briefly coached Porzingis during the 2021–22 season in Dallas. In a recent press conference, the Mavs’ coach shared his thoughts on their time together.

When you talk about, ‘Did it work, did it not work,’ I only had him for a short period of timeI thought it was going well in the sense of our defense, his ability to block shots, and rebound. And then offensively, we looked to post him up a little bit more… He has the skill set to do both. I thought KP did great for us,” Kidd said.

During his tenure with the Mavericks, Porzingis was a significant contributor, particularly in his first season under coach Rick Carlisle. He attempted an average of 7.1 three-pointers per game and managed to maintain good stats despite being plagued by injuries. Over his two-and-a-half seasons in Dallas, Porzingis averaged 20 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 1.7 blocks per game.

The upcoming game will be a reunion for Porzingis and an emotionally charged matchup for Mavericks star Kyrie Irving. Irving, who previously played for the Celtics, is set to face his former team in the Finals.
