Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are being called out.
The couple reportedly put up crime scene tape around his Kansas City home to keep trick-or-treaters away and a security guard told kids that “nobody’s home today,” The Daily Mail reported. A lot of people did not like that.
Speaking to the New York Post, an unnamed mother in the area who lives nearby stated that the tape and security guard weren’t fooling anybody and it was obvious that the star couple simply did not want to give out candy to children.
“They’re not handing out candy, you believe that?” the mom said. “Well, we know they’re lying. Swifty is here.”
Another mom also joined in on the dislike for what Kelce and Swift were doing.
“I don’t get why he’s sitting in the car telling us nobody’s home, when clearly they are,” another mom said. “Why don’t they just not answer the door.”
On Wednesday’s episode of his “New Heights” podcast, which he co-hosts with his brother Jason Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end called the support from fans “cool” as he spoke on them dressing as him and Swift for Halloween.
It was reported last month that Kelce purchased a new $6 million mansion inside a gated community in a bid for more privacy amid his newfound romance with the Grammy winner. According to Zillow, the luxe home features six bedrooms and six bathrooms, plus a waterfall, swimming pool, and mini golf course.
It’s clear from this latest report that he made a good investment.
Social media users first began buzzing about the pair’s romance back in September after Page Six reported that Taylor and the two-time Super Bowl champ had been “quietly hanging out” for weeks.
It really kicked into high gear when she showed up to his game at Arrowhead Stadium in September when the team played the Chicago Bears. She has since been to three other contests.

One particular Swiftie has been a fan for a while as she dressed up as her for one Halloween. What makes this even crazier is that her husband just so happened to dress up as Travis Kelce. This was back in 2020.

Neither Swift nor Kelce have ever been married so the possibility is there. It should be noted that Swift dated Joe Alwyn for six years and they never got hitched.
Dating rumors between Swift and Kelce began to swirl after the Chiefs tight end said he tried and failed to give her a friendship bracelet with his number on it during the Kansas City stop on the Eras tour.
The two were spotted together after the game and reportedly spent time together at a Kansas City restaurant with friends and teammates. According to reports, Swift is also expected to attend Sunday’s game against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium.
Kelce admitted the attention surrounding him and Swift was brought on by himself, but he later added that he will likely just keep the focus on his game going forward.
