Travis Kelce had a memorable 2023 for a variety of reasons.

Whether it be winning his second Super Bowl, growing his New Heights podcast with brother Jason, or hosting Saturday Night Live, the Kansas City Chiefs star had several memorable moments.

Not to mention news that he started dating one of the biggest celebrities in the world, pop star Taylor Swift.

With Kelce and Swift’s romance doing well, it seems the tight end may have now sent his sights on a new goal.

Next up for Kelce: Hollywood?
As per the New York Times’ Zach Schonbrun, Kelce’s managers, Aaron and Andre Eanes, began connecting with agencies with strong ties to Hollywood when the Chiefs star hosted SNL.

Their goal, reportedly, is to get Kelce in a movie. Given Kelce is now dating Swift, something the duo state wasn’t planned, the belief is that it won’t be hard to sell producers on his stardom.

It also helps that Kelce has done well in front of the camera, impressing during his appearance on SNL, as well as several commercials. He also had his own reality dating show, Catching Kelce, back in 2016.

As a result Creative Artist Agency’s sports media co-head Richard Lovette believes that interest in Kelce has now hit a mainstream level. Pair that with his natural affinity for the camera, and a role in a mainstream Hollywood film may not be far fetched.

How Kelce landed with the Eanes brothers
Kelce’s agents have worked with the Chiefs star for quite some time.

Travis met Andre through his college roommate, D.J. Woods.D.J. and Andre are childhood friends, and it doesn’t hurt that Kelce got VIP passes from Eanes thanks to the event management business he ran while at college.

As for Aaron, he studied sports management and entrepreneurship at Bowling Green State University when he signed Kelce. He then pitched the idea of becoming his manager, and they haven’t looked back sinc

Travis Kelce discusses Taylor Swift, his very busy off-season, and working with Ryan Murphy in a new interview with Good Morning America.

In an interview with Good Morning America, the NFL player talked about his very busy off-season.

After 11 seasons playing in the NFL, Travis Kelce is by no means a rookie in the league. But in some of his other, newer roles—boyfriend to Taylor Swift, actor on Ryan Murphy’s Grotesquerie, and presidential BFF, to name a few—he’s learning on the job.

In an interview that aired Thursday on Good Morning America, Kelce dished about his off-season goings-on and how he’s keeping his schedule (extremely) full in the months between winning his second consecutive Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs and suiting up for training camp in late July.

He’s spent a lot of time with Swift this summer, of course, popping up at her Eras Tour show in Paris alongside Bradley Cooper and Gigi Hadid last month, then enjoying a romantic getaway by Italy’s Lake Como. Overall, he said, he’s “livin’ the dream, baby.”

“I’m so fortunate and so grateful [for] everything that’s come my way in life,” he said. “I feel like I’m on top of the mountain, even after winning the Super Bowl and having the off-season that I’m having. Just looking forward to what’s next in life, man…I’m so grateful. So appreciative.”

Among those off-season experiences are taking a trip to the White House with his team to meet Joe Biden and being called up to the podium (“I felt all the Taser guns on me when I walked up there,” he said, but summed it up as “cool, man”), hosting Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?, and trying his hand at playing someone other than himself for the first time.

Kelce said that he’s been “taking pointers” and “keeping an open ear” on the set of Murphy’s new show. He granted permission to refer to him as an actor now, adding that “it’s definitely different portraying a character and trying to find the emotions in everything, and the understanding of a script and the scene. But it’s a challenge.”

“I feel like an amateur right now,” he said, but if there’s one thing he has plenty of experience with, it’s taking feedback. “I’m coachable,” he said. “That’s one thing I know from being in sports, I am a coachable guy. It’s just been awesome… Everybody involved in terms of the actors and the directors and the writers have just helped me out so much [in] understanding what I’m supposed to be doing. And I’m just having fun with it.”

He credited his close inner circle, including his brother Jason Kelce, who recently retired from the Philadelphia Eagles and co-host of the podcast New Heights with Travis, with keeping his head on straight as his public profile explodes.

“I can’t really say that I had that much of a vision on where I was gonna be, especially off the field,” Travis said. “So I don’t think I could even fathom where I’m at right now in life.”

“When you have good family and friends around you, it makes that aspect of life that much easier,” he said. “I have such a beautiful family.”

Of course, he couldn’t resist getting a dig in on his brother, who he characterized as “like, the Neanderthal that wears flip flops in the winter and doesn’t really care what he looks like, and I like to, you know, throw on fashionable stuff and have fun, be a little bit more outspoken.”

And, of course, he’s been nothing if not outspoken about his goal of racking up a third consecutive Super Bowl win in 2025, rookie acting season aside.

“I’m so in the present, man,” he said. “Just being present during the now is something I really pride myself on. I try not to get too far down the road because you just never know what opportunities are gonna present themselves. So I know I got a 2024 football season coming up that I’m pretty fired up about.
