He’s going his own way
Travis Kelce and Taylor SwiftLAPRESSE
The relationship between the singer and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end has done the NFL no harm in terms of global interest and popularity, so they may want to forgive Kelce for his recent transgression.
According to Page Six, Kelce and Swift are extremely committed to each other and an engagement proposal from the Chiefs star is well on the way, but the timing could be very, very important.
He is expected to pop the question sooner rather than later but an engagement involving an NFL player in late summer or early autumn is not common at all.
The unwritten rule
Kelce could buck the trend and break the rules by proposing to Swift at the end of the Chiefs’ pre-season training camp and whilst they are playing their pre-season fixtures.
Speaking to The Sun, the insider shared details about Travis Kelce‘s chosen ring.
The source said Kelce visited dozens of shops worldwide, including London, Paris, and Milan, to find the perfect engagement ring.
The person stated: “It probably took more than 40 shop visits and 100 Zoom calls and meetings with jewelry experts to find what he was looking for. He finally found the ring he is sure she will love.”
The source also said: “The ring is worth around $250,000 and has the finest diamonds and pieces to build it. He wants the best for his lady, noting Travis’s desire to show how much he loves Taylor once he goes down on one knee. He is ready to get engaged to her; he can’t wait.”
