Taylor Swift ‘ready for Travis Kelce proposal’ as she shows four key signs of romantic mood
The Blank Space hitmaker enjoyed a lavish evening at the $22,000-a-night Grand Hotel Tremezzo in Lake Como with the NFL tight end , marking the couple’s milestone. But it’s not their romantic celebration that causing the most conversation, says an expert.
Exclusively analysing images from Taylor and Travis’ lavish night out, body language professional Judi James tells the Mirror US the singer looks “in the mood for a proposal”. She explained: “The setting could hardly have been more romantic for a dinner for two.”
“Those candles on the ground encircling their table and the sumptuous surroundings, it might be seen as almost churlish for a guy not to get down on one knee at some stage between the courses,” Judi explained. “Taylor’s body language shows at least four key signs of her romantic mood here, too. There is her arm encircling Travis’ waist as they walk together; the way how when he hangs his arm around her shoulders she grasps his dangling hand in her own in a reciprocal gesture to let him know she loves the PDAs.”
She added: “The way she seems to close in for a kiss as they walk and then her intense, undivided and flattering eye attention as they sit at the table. Taylor leans in closer across the table here, even cupping her chin in her hand to make herself look besotted and in love. Travis’s romantic gesturing is less convincing here though. His arm around her shoulders is hanging casually and his other hand is shoved into his pocket.
“He seems to be there for the kiss and hopefully instigates it, which would create some matching signals but when he sits at the table with Taylor his expression looks unsmiling and there are moments when he seems to be gazing downward.
“Rather than returning her intense focus and even hunched back in his seat as she is leaning out across the table. They do seem to be holding hands across the table in some poses that look romantic enough to keep the fans happy but if there’s no proposal in a setting like this when you’re celebrating a year of dating it might be hard to imagine what venue and occasion Travis has got in mind for when he finally pops the question.”
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis has been dating Grammy winner Taylor since 2023, with the couple going public with their relationship last September. The busy musician is heading back on her Eras Tour, currently in Europe. Travis was spotted enjoying Taylor’s final show in Paris, but no word yet on if he’s planning to attend more of this leg.
