Social Media Was Completely Fooled By Rumor That Kevin Durant & Brittney Griner Are Dating After Photo Emerged Of Them Together (PIC + TWEETS)
Social media can be quite hilarious at times, but it can also be scary at how easily misinformation can be shared and believed.
This week, Kevin Durant went viral on social media, not because of his first game with the Phoenix Suns, but because of a still shot someone took of him greeting Brittney Griner of the Phoenix Mercury.
The two were merely embracing on the court, but a troll account stated that they were dating, which we know is untrue since Griner’s wife has been in the news for months trying to get her free from Russia.
Here’s how social media responded:
Three weeks after Phoenix traded for Kevin Durant, KD finally made his Suns debut. The Phoenix Suns won their first game with Kevin Durant in the lineup on Wednesday night.

The Boston Celtics’ powerhouse, Kristaps Porzingis, has been battling a soleus strain in his right calf, causing him to miss crucial playoff games. Nevertheless, good news seems to be on the horizon for Celtics fans, as the star player could return as soon as Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
The potential return of their unsung hero could be a significant boost for the Celtics. If he is cleared to play, fans can look forward to his performance on Monday night against the Indiana Pacers at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
Kristaps Porzingis sustained this non-contact injury during the first-round series against the Miami Heat and has not played since. His absence extended through all five games in the conference semifinals against the Cleveland Cavaliers. He was listed to miss the first two games of the conference finals against the Pacers as well.
Porzingis’ injury was undoubtedly a blow for the Celtics, given his stellar performance throughout the season. The Celtics star has averaged 20.1 points and 7.2 rebounds while shooting a career-high 51.6% from the field this season. In Kristaps Porzingis’ absence, the Celtics have had to rely heavily on their depth and other key players stepping up.
