If you’ve been on social media long enough, then you’ve seen many men tell women that they need to stay in the kitchen during random arguments online.

Over the weekend, a Kansas City Chiefs player delivered the commencement speech at a Catholic school in the state, effectively telling the female students to stay in the kitchen.

Benedictine College, a liberal arts college located in Atchison, Kansas, recently had its graduating ceremony, to which Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker was invited to speak. The gay basketball player Jallen Messersmith was once expelled from this same college for refusing to take down a rainbow flag from his dorm room window.

Butker seemed to fit right in at home because he spoke with no filter.

Harrison Butker started by making some highly critical remarks about President Biden and COVID before moving on to the kitchen, which he believes is the ultimate and proper place for women.

“I think it is you, the women, who have had the most diabolic lies told to you. Some of you may go on to lead successful careers in the world, but I would venture to guess that the majority of you are most excited about your marriage and the children you will bring into this world, he said via Yahoo Sports.

“I can tell you that my beautiful wife Isabelle would be the first to say her life truly started when she started living her vocation as a wife and as a mother. I’m on this stage today, able to be the man that I am because I have a wife who leans into her vocation.

“I’m beyond blessed with the many talents God has given me, but it cannot be overstated that all my success is made possible because a girl I met in band class back in middle school would convert to the faith, become my wife, and embrace one of the most important titles of all. Homemaker.”

Fans took to social media and blasted Harrison Butker for his advice:

Harrison Butker was hardly finished as he went on to rail against Pride Month.

“Not the deadly sins sort of Pride that has an entire month dedicated to it, “but the true God-centered pride that is cooperating with the holy ghost to glorify him.”

The Kansas City Chiefs became the first team in two decades to win back-to-back Super Bowls with their 25-22 win over the San Francisco 49ers in Las Vegas back in February.

Harrison Butker has won three Super Bowls with the Kansas City Chiefs since being with them in 2017.

In a recent commencement speech, Harrison Butker, the kicker for the Kansas City Chiefs, launched a barrage of criticisms against President Biden’s leadership, citing the president’s stances on abortion, gender ideology, and the COVID-19 pandemic.

The three-time Super Bowl champion suggested that Biden, who, like Butler, is Catholic, has betrayed his faith with his support of abortion access.

“Bad policies and poor leadership have negatively impacted major life issues,” Butler said on Saturday during the undergraduate ceremony at Benedictine College.

Butler said, “Things like abortion, IVF, surrogacy, euthanasia, as well as a growing support for degenerate cultural values in media, all stem from the pervasiveness of disorder.”

Later, at his commencement address on Saturday, Butker took aim at DEI.

“The world around us says that we should keep our beliefs to ourselves whenever they go against the tyranny of diversity, equity, and inclusion,” he said. “We fear speaking truth because now, unfortunately, truth is in the minority.”
