Taylor Swift appeared to pay homage to her boyfriend Travis Kelce during her show in Paris Sunday at La Defense Arena, including the song Alchemy as a surprise guitar track in her setlist.
The 34-year-old songstress had multiple costume changes in her set at the show Sunday, which was attended by the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 34, as well as supermodel Gigi Hadid, 29, and A-list actor Bradley Cooper, 49, who were pictured sitting together in a luxury box.
The Grammy-winning musical artist blended her track The Alchemy – which fans have speculated is about her romance with the NFL star – with her track Treacherous, according to social media posts from the show.
There was a numerical tie-in to playing a song dedicated to Kelce during Sunday’s show: The concert was the 87th on Swift’s The Eras Tour, aligning with Kelce’s football jersey number, 87.
Kelce, whose teammates on the Super Bowl champion Chiefs include quarterback Patrick Mahomes and embattled wide receiver Rashee Rice, was pictured dancing in the stands to the track.
Swift appeared to include a creative nod to Kelce and his team Sunday when she wore the team’s red and gold colors amid a sequence that included the tracks Bad Blood, Shake It Off and Blank Space.
Sunday night’s production was the fifth time Kelce attended the elaborate tour, which spans the various eras of Swift’s career.
Kelce, who was clad in a short-sleeved off-white top at the show Sunday, previously saw his girlfriend perform in Argentina, Australia, and Singapore.
The stars have been supportive of one another in their careers: Swift was on hand for multiple Chiefs games last fall, as well as in February to watch Kelce and his team best the San Francisco 49ers at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium in the championship game.
Former NFL star Brandon Marshall said that Swift had her longtime adversary Kanye West booted from their area – as he ‘was trying to leverage her celebrity’ to put the limelight on himself – but West denied that had occurred.
Swift and Kelce vacationed with Hadid and Cooper at the quaint Northern California town Carmel-by-the-Sea in late April.
Kelce at Sunday’s performance sang along to Swift’s song So High School, which is also believed to have been written about him, according to Us Weekly, which reported that she also blew a kiss to her beau before starting the song.
Other famous faces in the audience on Sunday night included actress Jessica Capshaw and singer Christina Milian.
Swift took to Instagram Sunday to thank her fans in Paris for their support amid her series of shows, in which she performed material from her new album for the first time.
‘This post is dedicated to the new Tortured Poets section of the Eras Tour (aka Female Rage The Musical!) and everyone who made these memories so magical,’ she said. ‘To my crew, fellow performers, and band who worked tirelessly in their break to concoct this surprise for you – but mostly for the fans in Paris.
‘I’m so thankful that it was you we got to show this to for the first time because you gave us so much excitement, passion, and love. I’m SO fired up to play this for every crowd on the tour. See you very soon, Stockholm!’
Swift’s next stop on her record-breaking tour is Stockholm, Sweden.
Swift revealed during her second night in Paris that she has been working on The Tortured Poets Department segment of her Eras Tour since last year.
The singer took a moment during her show to share details with her attentive audience.
