Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders responded to a post on X/Twitter about having six NFL teams on his wish list.

Assuming he declares for the 2025 NFL Draft, Shedeur Sanders will likely be one of the first quarterbacks taken. The stacked 2025 QB draft class could be headlined by Sanders, Texas’ Quinn Ewers, Georgia’s Carson Beck and Notre Dame’s Riley Leonard.

The NFL Rookie Watch X/Twitter account tweeted that Sanders would like to play for either the Atlanta Falcons, Baltimore Ravens, Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, San Francisco 49ers or Washington Commanders.

On Friday morning, Shedeur denied the rumor in a short-and-sweet response:

After a successful run at Jackson State, Deion Sanders was hired as the new head coach of the Buffaloes. He brought several Tigers players over to Boulder, including sons Shedeur and Shilo Sanders (a safety).

The 6-foot-2, 215-pound Shedeur turned heads with his all-world play during his first season in Colorado. He completed 69.3 percent of pass attempts for 3,230 yards and 27 touchdowns against only three interceptions and four rushing scores.

Those numbers are especially impressive when you consider that Shedeur Sanders was the most sacked quarterback in the country last year. The Buffaloes went to work in rebuilding the offensive line, recruiting notable names like Matthew Bedford (Indiana), Kahlil Benson (Indiana) and Tyler Johnson (Houston).

Shedeur Sanders & Buffs Look To Build Off Story-Filled 2023 Season

On one hand, the Buffaloes exceeded expectations by quadrupling their win total (four) from 2022 (one). So if you look at it from that pespective, Deion Sanders’ first year in Boulder was a modest success.

On the other hand, the Buffaloes jumped out to a perfect 3-0 start before losing eight of their final nine games. Colorado also proved to be no match for ranked teams, a clear indicator that there’s plenty of work ahead for Prime Time.

Colorado’s 2024 season opens with a home game against the North Dakota State Bison.

While Wednesday night went well for thirty new draft picks, some were left disappointed. One such player is Duke’s, Kyle Filipowski, who had high hopes of finding his new home in the NBA. Instead, he went back empty-handed.

The 7-foot offensive center was present in the Barclays Center green room with his nearby ones waiting for his name to be called out. However, in the pool of talented players, Filipowski couldn’t make the spot. This does not mean he has missed the opportunity this year. The 20-year-old might not have made it into the first round, but the second one is still left.

One of the saddest moments from the event shared on X (formerly known as Twitter) was Filipowski hugging his girlfriend. The young athlete looked disheartened by the situation while she tried to console him.

The Blue Devils’ standout put up 16.4 points, 8.3 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game in the 2023-2024 season. Filipowski did display his shooting skills, but that wasn’t enough for the Duke man to engage in a contract with any franchise.
