She has spent 10 seasons in the WNBA. In her career, Colson has played for the Chicago Sky, the New York Liberty, the Las Vegas Aces, the San Antonio Stars and the Minnesota Lynx.

Colson has spent the last three seasons with the Aces, where she has seemingly found her home in the WNBA. Colson has won two WNBA championships with the Aces, who are looking for their third-straight championship with a record of 16-8 at the WNBA All-Star break.

As the Aces prepare for a strong second half of the season, Colson will look to be a strong veteran presence for Las Vegas in search of a third consecutive WNBA title.

The Aces would join the Houston Comets as the only teams in WNBA history to win three straight WNBA championships.

A’ja Wilson showing defensive versatility throughout Olympic matchups

A’ja Wilson has helped Team USA to an undefeated record thus far in the Olympics, getting it done on both ends of the court for the gold medal favorites.

Team USA concluded group phase play with a win over Germany, extending their record to 3-0 in Olympic play.

Wilson displayed her defensive prowess in the matchup, notching three steals and two blocks in the tone-setting performance. Team USA’s defense helped them secure the win over Germany, forcing 23 turnovers and plucking 12 steals while blocking five shots.

On the offensive side, A’ja Wilson was the team’s second-highest scorer, putting in 14 points, two assists and three rebounds while shooting 54% from the field.

A’ja Wilson’s performance throughout the Olympics has played a big part in Team USA’s success. The Aces superstar has averaged 20.3 points, 9.7 rebounds and 2.6 assists while posting 2.0 steals and 2.0 blocks per contest.

Team USA will compete in the Olympic Quarterfinals versus Nigeria on August 7.
