ESPN couldn’t help but roast the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys while bringing up the recent success of Big D’s other professional sports teams.

Seven months after the Texas Rangers of Major League Baseball celebrated their first World Series in franchise history, the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks and NHL’s Dallas Stars have qualified for the Western Conference Finals in their respective leagues. And then there are the Dallas Cowboys.

While discussing the success of the Mavericks, Stars and Rangers, ESPN used the opportunity to humiliate the Cowboys by displaying a graphic that’s not exactly flattering to Jerry Jones and company:

The Mavericks are up 1-0 on the Minnesota Timberwolves in their best-of-seven series, while the Stars will open up their Western Conference Finals series at home against Connor McDavid’s Edmonton Oilers tonight.

The Dallas Cowboys haven’t played in the NFC Championship Game since 1995, the same year last won the Super Bowl. Only the Washington Commanders, Miami Dolphins and Cleveland Browns have longer active conference title game appearance droughts.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones stated back in January that the team would have an “all-in” approach this offseason. But Dallas has surprisingly been among the quietest teams in both free agency and the trade market, having done most of their offseason work at the draft.

Dallas Cowboys Face A Critical Year Entering 2024

Both quarterback Dak Prescott and head coach Mike McCarthy are entering the final years of their contracts. Superstar wide receiver CeeDee Lamb will need an extension as he heads into the last year of his rookie deal, too.

If the Cowboys endure another early postseason exit, one has to wonder if Jones will finally wave the flag and make sweeping changes. It’s certainly interesting that he hasn’t extended his star quarterback as offseason training camp inches closer.

Prescott and the Cowboys will begin their season with a road clash against the Cleveland Browns on Sept. 8.

Former ESPN Host Michelle Beadle Had Some Brutal Things To Say To Chiefs Kicker Harrison Butker

Harrison Butker’s speech at a college has provoked debate, ire, and controversy, and now, a former ESPN host is speaking out against him.

Kicker Harrison Butker of the Kansas City Chiefs delivered the commencement speech to Benedictine College alumni on May 11, and nothing but backlash has followed him ever since.

He stated that Pride Month was a “deadly sin,” denounced abortion rights, and told women they had been given “the most diabolical lies” during his lecture to a private Catholic liberal arts institution in Kansas.

The Kansas City Chiefs kicker told women during his sexist commencement speech last weekend that their “most important title” should be “homemaker.”

“How many of you are sitting here now, about to cross this stage, and are thinking about all the promotions and titles you are going to get in your career? Some of you may go on to lead successful careers in the world,” Butker said. “But I would venture to guess that the majority of you are most excited about your marriage and the children you will bring into this world.”

“I can tell you that my beautiful wife, Isabelle, would be the first to say that her life truly started when she began living her vocation as a wife and a mother. … I’m beyond blessed with the many talents God has given me, but it cannot be overstated that all of my success is made possible because a girl I met in band class back in middle school would convert to the faith, become my wife, and embrace one of the most important titles of all: homemaker.”
