Jaxson Hayes has been one of the more productive players on the New Orleans Pelicans this season, but he has some off-the-court issues he has to deal with that started last year when he got into trouble for some legal issues after he reportedly resisted arrest.

Now, Jaxson Hayes is being sued by his ex-girlfriend, Instagram model Sofia Jamora, for “assault and battery.”

Per TMZ:

“Jamora claims Jaxson chased her all around the house and the property, grabbing her multiple times, tossing her around and dragging her down some stairs. She says he became enraged and started breaking anything he could get his hands on.”

“According to the docs, Jamora claims she locked Jaxson out of the house but he broke in through a window and she texted her cousins, begging them to call the cops.”

Her account and the day coincides with the day that Hayes was taken in for resisting arrest. Bodycam footage showed the police’s excessive contact with the big man. However, in Jamora’s suit, she claims that this was because Hayes was tampering with the scene.

Hayes, the 8th overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, is being sued for assault, battery, and infliction of emotional distress and she is coming after him for damages.

For the 2021-2022 season, Hayes is averaging 9.1 points and 4.5 rebounds a game. Both are career high averages for him.

Boston Celtics legend Paul Pierce has fans fearing for his job following an embarrassing slip-up during ‘Undisputed’ this Monday.

The Hall of Famer has already been fired from a TV gig following his retirement. But he risked it all again after appearing to blurt out the N-word in reference to New York Knicks shooting guard Donte DiVincenzo while reviewing Sunday’s NBA playoff fixtures.

The audio doesn’t quite do the clip below justice, but it sounds like Pierce said, “Look at this N, Key” as he turned to former NFL star Keyshawn Johnson.

Check it out below:

“Paul pierced bout to get fired from his 2nd TV network lmao,” one fan wrote in the comments.

Check out some more reactions here:

Pierce was referring to DiVincenzo’s weak performance during the Knicks’ embarrassing 121-89 loss to the Indiana Pacers on Sunday.

The guard scored 25 points in Game 1, added another 28 in Game 2, and recorded 35 in Game 3. But he scored just seven points in Game 4, shooting 3-13 from the floor.
