Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan have a long history together before Larsa Pippen found love with Michael’s son.

Scottie Pippen has made his disdain for Michael Jordan known multiple times over the years and it’s shocking each and every time he does it.

Legendary basketball star Bill Walton is just one person who is speaking out on it.

“I’m shocked and dismayed and those words are not strong enough to relate my feelings as the way that Scottie Pippen treats Michael Jordan,” Walton said Friday on “Scoop B Radio.”

“It was a remarkable privilege and honor to have that position and to witness the greatness of that team. I’m a team guy. I love the team game. That’s why I’m super happy with what happened with the Denver Nuggets.”

Last month, Scottie stated Jordan was a “horrible player” who was “horrible to play with.”

“Our game is a team game, and one player can’t do it,” Pippen said.

“I’ve seen Michael Jordan play before I came to play with the Bulls. You guys have seen him play. He was a horrible player. He was horrible to play with. It was all 1-on-1, shooting bad shots. And all of a sudden, we become a team and we start winning. Everybody forgot who he was.”

While Jordan is known for his fierce competitive nature, Pippen said the young Jordan’s passion was for scoring, not winning.

“He was a player that, really, winning wasn’t at the top of his category,” Pippen said.

Between 1990 and 1998, the Chicago Bulls won six NBA championships, in arguably the greatest run in North American sports history. The only two years the Bulls didn’t win the title was when Michael Jordan tried and failed to play baseball.

Pippen credited Bulls coach Phil Jackson with bringing the team together to win all those titles.

The way Jordan holds a grudge, these two are unlikely to speak are come together as one ever again. For Scottie, he has to continue to deal with his hurt as his ex-wife, Larsa Pippen, is now dating the son of Michael Jordan, Marcus.

On Wednesday, the Celtics got the job done against the Cavs in game 5 to clinch a Conference Finals spot. The Celtics won 113-98 against a Donovan Mitchell-less Cavaliers side thanks to Jayson Tatum and Al Horford’s big performances.

After the game, Cs HC Joe Mazzulla discussed what it takes to chase the championship and his answer was to the point and definitive. “At the end of the day, if you want to win you got to do whatever it takes,” said Mazzulla. He further added, “Everybody wants to win until it’s really time to win. Then you have to nut up and do a lot of sh** that you don’t want to do.”

Emphasizing the pressure in the late games in the series, Mazzulla praised his players for handling business, and said, “I thought the guys’ focus on the task at hand, they were very present.”

Al Horford also received words of praise for his outstanding night’s work to progress to the Conference Finals. For Mazzulla, this will be his first Conference Finals and the possibility of a first NBA Finals is not off the table. But this could be his journey to it with his trusted right-hand man, Sam Cassell, who is reportedly linked with the Lakers for their vacant HC role.
