Over the course of his legendary NBA career, Michael Jordan was responsible for plenty of memorable moments.

In that career, Jordan won 5 MVPs and 6 titles and had quite a few memorable performances.

There was the unbelievable 63 points against the Celtics in the playoffs early in his career.

There was the free throw line dunk in the dunk contest.

He had “The Shrug” in the midst of 35-point half of an NBA Finals win over the Trail Blazers.

Still, there is no one night in Michael Jordan’s career more iconic than “The Flu Game”.

Incorrectly named, the Flu Game came in Game 5 of the 1997 NBA Finals against the Utah Jazz. Jordan was battling food poisoning, but he was able to lead the Bulls to a victory against a Jazz team that hadn’t lost a home game in the playoffs that year.

Jordan posted an impressive stat line of 38 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals in spite of the food poisoning.

Yesterday, one NBA fan became the owner of an important piece of memorabilia from this game. The shoes he wore during the game that he signed after the game sold in a Goldin auction for $1.38 million.

BroBible’s own Brandon Wenerd recently had the chance to speak to Ken Goldin and Goldin revealed that the sneakers were originally given to a Jazz ball boy that used to give MJ apple sauce after games.

“He provided Jordan with applesauce after every game,” Goldin said. “He gave Jordan the applesauce, and Jordan said, ‘Here.’ In 1997, 26 years ago, he had the thoughtfulness to take a picture of Jordan signing the shoes and handing it to him.”

Goldin also revealed that he believed the shoes could be worth $5 million.

While they didn’t quite reach that lofty price tag, they are still one of the most expensive pairs of shoes ever and one of the coolest pieces of sports memorabilia a fan could possibly own.

Since Darren Waller allegedly cheated on his wife Kelsey Plum following her gorgeous Skims photo shoot, he is currently the target of vicious online trolling. Less than a year after getting married, the couple filed for divorce last month.

The worsening of the trolling continued after her almost nude appearance at the start of the regular season.

Plum has spoken out about the divorce, while Wale has remained quiet.
