LeBron James

LeBron James’ wife Savannah James and April McDaniels announced in March 2024 about launching the “Everybody’s Crazy” podcast. The news came two weeks after the LA Lakers superstar had begun his basketball show with then-ESPN analyst and now coach JJ Redick. Unlike the NBA player’s hoop-centric “Mind the Game, his wife’s venture concentrated on “crazy” stories from fans.

The first season of the social media influencer’s podcast consisted of six episodes, the last of which came out in June. James and McDaniel talked about regrets (or the lack thereof), transactional dating, sassy men, new-age city girls and finding a positive outlook on life.

When the last episode ended, Savannah James went on Instagram to ask fans if they wanted a second season. An estimated 92% of respondents replied in the positive, giving hope that “Everybody’s Crazy” would be back.

The initial episode of Season 2 focused on something quite interesting. “Everybody’s Crazy” called it “having feelings for your friend, the crazy ones, sneaky links and heartfelt moments about deserving better and figuring it all out.

What started as something that “scared the hell out of them” is now in its second season. During the launching of the podcast, McDaniel said to People Magazine about how the show came about:

“The funny part is we’ve never talked about doing a podcast together. Never. We are very private in our own respected natures. Savannah’s always been very private with her life and so have I.”

Both have become quite good at hosting, a big reason why fans clamored for more. LeBron James’ wife added in the interview that after “playing in the background,” she wanted to “venture off into new things.” That venture has turned out quite well, based on fans’ reactions.

LeBron James’ wife Savannah James made a gaffe in Episode 1 of Season 2’s “Everybody’s Crazy”

LeBron James’ wife Savannah James can be very animated when she talks in “Everybody’s Crazy.” About halfway into the first episode of Season 2, she made a gaffe before quickly apologizing (19:50 mark)

“I hate, loathe ‘wifey’ with my whole entire soul. Because n**** don’t. Oh, I’m sorry. I’m sorry. Don’t call me your wifey, I’m not.”

Mrs. James said it happened early in her relationship with the basketball star. She didn’t want to be called a “wifey” until the right time arrived. Savannah and LeBron eventually got married in September 2013 and have been together since then.

LeBron James’ wife isn’t entirely in the background in their marriage. She’s now a celebrity in her own right with a podcast that seems to be getting popular with every episode.
