Former NBA star Lamar Odom has been hanging out with transgender actress, Daniielle Alexis. She posted a selfie with the former basketball player with a touching caption.

Just like it happened with Kylian Mbappe, there has been on confirmation that the 42-year-old former NBA player is dating Alexis. People online were quick to point out that the actress looks a lot like his ex wife, Khloe Kardashian. The Australian actress has already admitted publicly that she was born a boy and this post only proves she is good friends with Odom.

None of them have commented on this possibility. Odom has already admitted he is a heterosexual male but this opens the door for the endless debate. One that is more alive than ever before and will spark controversy.

On one side, there are those who don’t believe transgender women are women and therefore, men who like them are homosexual. On the other side, there are those who believe transgender women are women and are fair game in the dating world for heterosexual males. Michael Jordan, in his legendary NBA career, has ruled over the hearts of millions of fans, and the trend even continues decades after his retirement. Recently, Michael Jordan opened the Novant Health Michael Jordan Family Medical Clinic along with his mother, Dolores, which was the third clinic that MJ has opened in North Carolina.

During the opening ceremony of the latest one in Wilmington, an emotional Michael Jordan seemingly choked up while giving his speech. Speaking of his Wilmington roots, the 6-time NBA Champion pledged to support the underserved neighborhood through his clinic. “When the families are not able to support, we are there to support,” Jordan said to the crowd present during the opening.

The clinic will be used to serve those without medical insurance or who are underinsured. The other two clinics are located in Charlotte, ensuring connected coverage. According to the press release, the clinic will operate from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with 12 patient rooms and be accessible from Monday to Friday.

The noble gesture from Jordan garnered a lot of attention from the NBA world and Kevin Durant was one of them who showed his appreciation for the former Bulls star’s endeavor.

Since the news of the clinic broke, many have applauded His Airness for his pledge to the needy. Kevin Durant was one of them, and he took to social media to show his appreciation. KD wrote, “2 goats who impacted the world. Much Love to the Jordans and everything they do!”

Jordan is well known for his philanthropy and has been in the news several times for his charitable works. In 2023, MJ donated a record-setting $10 million to the Make-A-Wish foundation.

Apart from that, he donated the proceeds of a legal settlement to 23 Chicago-area charities in 2015. The Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Buoniconti Fund To Cure Paralysis, Uncf/College Fund, and the Special Olympics were some of the many charitable beneficiaries of Jordan’s limitless donations. He also famously donated his entire earnings of the 2001/02 season to various causes in the aftermath of 9/11.
