“We were invited to a dinner party that night and then the host of the dinner party was invited to that party and said, ‘Why don’t we all go to the party?’ So we went to the party,” said Kimmel, 56, during an appearance on “The Howard Stern Show” Wednesday with his wife, Molly McNearney.

The host corrected the announcer’s claim that Swift had DJ’d the event, explaining that the singer simply “had her iPhone and plugged it into the house system.”

Kimmel – who admitted that he and Swift, 34, talked during the festivities – made sure to point out that “it wasn’t like she was hired to work there.”

Stern, 70, excitedly asked if the singer was “there with Travis Kelce, her boyfriend.”

“Yes, of course! Yes, of course,” Kimmel replied, as McNearney, 46, added, “He’s very handsome.”

When Stern asked if there was a “jam session,” the comedian replied, “No, but people were dancing in the kitchen, including Molly.

No shortage of stars at the party

Ringo Starr, Mick Jagger, Bruce Springsteen, Steven Spielberg, Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox were among the nearly 100 guests at the star-studded soiree.

“I think what you do at a party like this is you go up to people you already know and say, ‘Can you believe this is happening and we’re here? ‘ And you leave it at that,” Kimmel explained, confessing that he “talked to Bruce.”

“It’s funny, you know, we had a good talk,” the “Jimmy Kimmel Live” host joked. “We talked about Elvis and, I don’t know, being in Los Angeles. We even had that moment, like, ‘Can you believe this party?’ Even Bruce Springsteen said, ‘What a party.'”

“It was one of those parties where I didn’t know how to hold my body,” she shared. “I didn’t know where to look! I didn’t know what to do. It was like one more celebrity after another.”
