Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat were sent packing for an early vacation by the Celtics in round one of the NBA playoffs. The Boston side won 4-1 in their series in which Playoff Jimmy could not influence the outcome due to his injury. Now that the season is over, Butler can finally concentrate on the side quests, including being a Bad Boy.

In a recently released trailer of Will Smith and Martin Lawrence’s “Bad Boys: Ride Or Die”, Jimmy Butler made a cameo. Lawrence was seen munching on some chips while talking about the Heat when the newsflash announced that Butler was leaving the Heat. Just then, the doorbell rang, and it was Jimmy Butler who came for an audition to become a Bad Boy.

After failing hilariously in multiple tests, Jimmy gave up on his dream to become a part of the legendary cop duo and returned to Heat. As Smith and Lawrence were making fun of Butler, the doorbell rang again and to their surprise, it was none other than Lionel Messi. The Inter Miami star was left disappointed at the door as the duo shut him down immediately, thwarting his dreams of becoming a Bad Boy.

The movie is set to hit the theatres on June 7 and is the fourth installment of the franchise. Though the superstar duo of Lionel Messi and Jimmy Butler were not seen together in the promo, the two had past runnings together due to their Miami-based professional life.

Since his transfer to Inter Miami last summer, Lionel Messi has been soaring in the popularity charts on the US sports circuit, which was mostly dominated by Tom Brady and LeBron James till his arrival. The Argentine is now currently living in Miami with his family and, thanks to that, he had a chance encounter with Jimmy Butler.

A few months ago, the two were seen greeting each other on the streets of the Floridian metropolis and the footage sent the sports world into frenzy.

Messi was seen attending a Heat playoff game last month and Butler returned the favor by pulling up at an Inter Miami game earlier this month.

With Jimmy Butler’s Miami future in doubt following a disappointing end to the season, there might not be many encounters in store between the iconic stars of their respective games.

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce may have won over Taylor Swift’s heart with his charming personality and looks, but teammate Patrick Mahomes believes he deserves some credit for helping the power couple come together.

Patrick Mahomes’ Chiefs received plenty more media coverage and attention than usual in 2023, and not just because they won another Super Bowl. It was largely thanks to Kelce’s relationship with the Grammy Award-winning singer that went public last fall.

Swift attended the majority of Chiefs games in 2023, including their entire postseason run that ended with a victory over the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl 58.

During his appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show”, Patrick Mahomes made an interesting confession for Kelce: The two-time league MVP claims that he was the one who got the ball rolling on the Kelce-Swift thing:

“I like to take some of the credit. I was the one who invited Travis to his first Taylor concert…He was sitting in my suite, so I feel like I was the matchmaker. I had some input in there… ‘Just go for it. Just go for it.’ And you know Travis man, he does it…I’m glad it’s all worked out for the best.”

They haven’t been together for a full year yet, but there’s already speculation that Kelce will soon propose to Swift. Multiple reports have suggested otherwise, but only Kelce and Swift know deep down if that’s on the table right now.
