The Kansas City Chiefs‘ Travis Kelce was lost for words when Jason Sudeikis finally asked him the very uncomfortable question on everyone’s minds: When is he going to marry Taylor Swift?

The Ted Lasso star and legendary NFL tight end were both at the Big Slick Celebrity Weekend in Kansas City, where they’re aiming to raise funds to be sent to the Children’s Mercy Hospital, which aims to treat struggling children, with other famous stars in attendance such as Paul Rudd and Finn Wolfhard.

But the 48-year-old star of the Apple TV+ hit wasted no time in asking the 34-year-old when he’s “going to make an honest woman” out of Swift, to which the audience reacted with ecstatic cheers for an answer, although Kelce sat there with a smile on his face as he stroked his beard.

On this occasion, the three-time Super Bowl champion offered no comment but the question begins to loom larger and larger on the horizon as their relationship closes in on its one-year anniversary and a successful 365 days together.

Swift and Kelce announced their relationship in September 2023 after she was seen at the Kansas City Chiefs‘ game against the Chicago Bears, which they won 41-10, but it was later revealed that they’d been dating secretly since around August.

Since then, Swift has been a regular fixture at Kelce’s NFL games whilst he has regularly jetted off around the world to support her on her Eras Tour, which is currently in Europe and due to resume with a performance beginning in France on June 2.

Kelce enjoyed the event

Kelce wasn’t the only Chiefs’ representative there either as his long-time friend and star quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, was also up on the stage involved in a series of skits and sketches.

On this occasion, their skit seemed to be a jab at the Chicago Bears, who failed to draft Mahomes in 2017 despite having the second pick, as they ate lots of chicken and nachos too in front of the crowd, something Kelce was having fun with.

“It’s about to get crazy, This is going to get f**king crazy,” Kelce said backstage. “I don’t know what I’m ready for right now, but I’m ready to have some fun.”

During a recent episode of “Run It Back” on Fanduel TV, Chandler Parsons, a former NBA player, criticized Boston Celtics forward Kristaps Porzingis and said that no one likes Porzingis in Dallas. Parsons claimed that Luka Doncic, the star player of the Dallas Mavericks, “did not like playing” with the Celtics’ star.

“It will be way more, you know, violent towards Kyrie Irving in Boston, no doubt, but don’t get twisted. They do not like Porzingis in Dallas. Luka did not like playing with him. There is an actual beef there where it’s going to be every time he touches the ball, he’s getting booed.” Parsons said.

He further mentioned that Dallas fans excel at showing appreciation for players and holding grudges against those who betrayed the team.

“Dallas, for whatever reason, those fans, they’re proud. Like, if you’re hurt, if you’re not playing, if you’re not doing what you were doing the years before you got to the Mavs, they don’t like you.” Parsons added.

Parsons further criticized Porzingis and stated that he guarantees that during the NBA finals, the crowd will boo the Celtics forward every time he touches the ball.

Joe Mazzulla recently provided an update on Porzingis’ injury status and availability, stating that “he went through everything the team did today.”
