Fever GM Calls for League to Address Injustices Against Caitlin Clark: “It needs to stop”Caitlin Clark (Photo by Andy Lyons/Getty Images)
Caitlin Clark, the No. 1 pick in the 2024 WNBA draft, has faced significant challenges in her rookie season with the Indiana Fever. Despite her impressive skills and potential, Clark has been subjected to unnecessary rough play and racism. After the recent racism incidents against Clark, Indiana Fever general manager Lin Dunn has been particularly vocal about the injustices Clark has encountered.

Dunn expressed her frustration in a post on X and demanded a needy approach to halting this discrimination against Clark.

There’s a difference between tough defense and unnecessary—targeting actions! It needs to stop! The league needs to ‘cleanup’ the crap! That’s NOT who this league is!!” she wrote in X.

Dunn’s comments came in response to incidents involving Chennedy Carter and Angel Reese during their recent game against the Chicago Sky. Carter’s foul on Clark was aggressive and off-the-ball, clearly beyond acceptable play. Surprisingly, the referees did not call it a flagrant foul, despite the blatant nature of the infraction.

It continued late in the fourth quarter when Angel Reese pushed Clark to the floor just as a two-point shot was about to be made. Yet, this time Reese’s unsportsmanlike move went uncalled as well.

Nevertheless, Clark continues to persevere and put forward her talent. In the game against the Chicago Sky, she ultimately had the last laugh by leading the Fever to a narrow 71-70 victory.

Griffin III Denounces Aggressive Play and Racism Against Caitlin Clark

Angel Reese has faced significant backlash on social media for her aggressive hip-checks against Caitlin Clark. Former NFL star Robert Griffin III has voiced his frustration over the racism directed at Clark.

Griffin took to his X account to express his displeasure, mentioning the acts as “hating.”

Okay, this IS HATING on Caitlin Clark. Face guarding, extremely aggressive play and the occasional hard foul can be described as competitiveness. Going out of your way to call her out of her name and body check her to the floor without the ball is HATING,” he wrote in x.

The Indiana Fever will face off against the New York Liberty at 7 p.m. ET today. Stay tuned.

The father of Travis Kelce is piping hot mad. He took to Facebook to post a Daily Mail article spotlighting a lyric on Kanye West’s long-awaited Vultures 2 album with Ty Dolla $ign that mentions Taylor Swift.

Kanye featured a lyrical reference to Taylor Swift’s romance with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end. “I twist my Taylor spliffs tight at the end like Travis Kelce,” Lil Wayne raps on the track “Lifestyle (Demo).”

“Mental illness on full display,” Ed wrote in response.

Honestly, those lyrics are quite tame to what we have heard in the past.
