When NFL sideline reporter Erin Andrews is seen on live television, she is always all smiles and professional. However, everything that glitters isn’t gold.

The veteran NFL sideline reporter revealed this week she has been feeling very overwhelmed by the holidays. She explained to Charissa Thompson that she may need to talk to someone about the personal things she is going through.

“I had family in town. I was dealing with stuff. I was trying to deal with the holiday. I was trying to deal with this game and there were just some things falling through the cracks and I literally fell through the cracks,” Andrews said. “I know I need to go talk to someone because I’m having a hard time surrendering. I’m having a hard time thinking, ‘Well if I give this power up, then what’s going to happen to this?’”

Despite how she is feeling, she will no doubt be on the field today doing her job just as she always has in the past.

Andrews once used to patrol the sidelines for the Worldwide Leader in Sports, but she left ESPN after eight years back in 2012 for a better opportunity.

In 2012, Andrews moved to Fox Sports, where she continued her work as a sports reporter and host. She has been involved in Fox’s NFL and MLB coverage, as well as major events like the Super Bowl.

Andrews remains on Fox’s top NFL team, alongside Kevin Burkhardt and Greg Olsen, and sometime in the future, Tom Brady when he finally starts his broadcasting career after signing a massive deal well before he would hang up his cleats for the second and final time.

Josh Jacobs has discussed the expectations regarding his new role with the Green Bay Packers.

The Packers signed the former Las Vegas Raiders star this offseason and will pay a significant sum as a result, so it appears they will be asking a lot more from him than he’s used to.

Jacobs spoke to NFL Network about his expanded role this week and revealed he is looking forward to showing a different offensive dimension in a Packers uniform as he should be doing a lot more route running and catching.

“Just to be able to come out and actually show I can catch the ball more,” he explained. “Be able to run real routes. Not just that, but trusting me enough to pick up protections. It’s just so special when you’ve got a guy like Jordan Love back there, you can’t just load the box on every play…I think it’s going to be the biggest help for me this year.”
