LSU star forward Angel Reese reached the mountain top of women’s college basketball on Sunday when her team beat Iowa in the national championship game, but it came with a lot of criticism. Reese taunted Hawkeyes guard Caitlin Clark multiple times in the game’s final moments and some fans online didn’t care for it.

Several big-name athletes defended Reese, including LeBron Jame. The four-time NBA champion quote-tweeted a tweet that read, “Angel Reese to all the haters after winning the national championship.”

Reese later replied to James’ defense of her:

In a drastic turn of events, fans then found a tweet from 2021 where Reese could be seen taking a shot at LeBron.

Her tweet right after the Lakers fell to the Phoenix Suns in the first round of the 2021 NBA Playoffs. The Lakers were up 2-1 before Anthony davis got hurt and allowed the Suns to close out the series in six games.

In that series, James recorded 23.3 points, 7.2 rebounds and 8.0 assists per game on 47.4 percent shooting from the field.

As for as Reese goes, she has went from one controversy of giving Caitlyn Clark the “you can’t see me” gesture to beefing with First Lady Jill Biden, who said she wanted LSU and Iowa to come to the White House. Reese called it a “joke” and has since stated that her team does not want to come anymore.

She further added that she did not accept her apology on the matter because she meant what she said the first time. Instead, the LSU squad would rather visit the Obamas.

LSU Coach Kim Mulkey Has Strange Response To Angel Reese’s Mysterious Absence During Tigers’ Game On Friday (VIDEO)

The strange drama surrounding the LSU Tigers women’s basketball team continued on Friday night as star player Angel Reese was nowhere to be found during the team’s game against SE Louisiana.

Just one game ago, things seemed to hit a boiling point at LSU, as Reese was benched by head coach Kim Mulkey during a game against Kent State. Meanwhile, off the court, Reece’s mother was making headlines of her own by engaging in some online beef with the mother of Angel’s LSU teammate, Flau’jae Johnson.

It seems like this issue hasn’t blown over, either, as Angel was completely absent during LSU’s 73-50 win over SE Louisiana on Friday night.

This latest bit of drama has sparked massive speculation, as it has left many wondering whether Reese was disciplined for her actions or perhaps even kicked off the team altogether.

Mulkey was asked about Reese’s whereabouts after the game, but her answer didn’t divulge much information.

Based on Mulkey’s answer, it sounds like Reese is still a member of the Tigers’ basketball team. Whether it was her decision to stay away from the team or the coach’s, however, remains a mystery.

LSU’s next game is on Monday against Texas Southern. We’ll see if Angel Reese is back in the lineup for that contest.
