Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark

Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark has finally spoken out about her team’s painful loss to Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky. Clark, expressed her frustration and reflection after the game where they lost 88-87 at Wintrust Arena.

Caitlin Clark, visibly upset and salty about the question about the beating Angel Reese gave her, faced the cameras and expressed the following.

Clark, expressed his frustration after the loss to Angel Reese

“Yeah, I mean, it sucks. It was a game that we felt like we could have won and we put ourselves in a position to win after three quarters,” Clark commented. “I even think we were up by 12 points with seven minutes to play in the game, if I’m not mistaken.”

Clark stressed the importance of not getting caught up in the loss, but also emphasized that they can’t let something like that happen again. “You can’t dwell on it too much, but it can’t happen again. I think it’s one of those games where you go back and watch the tape and, if we find ourselves in a similar situation, we have to be able to continue to attack and be aggressive, but also play really good defense.”

Clark also acknowledged that his team is an inexperienced group and that they must learn from these experiences. “Like I said, we’re an inexperienced group, so you have to learn from this. That’s the only thing you can do.”

Caitlin Clark’s reflection, which although she was visibly frustrated, shows her competitive spirit, her commitment to the team and her desire to improve. The Indiana Fever have the opportunity to learn from this loss and move forward stronger in upcoming WNBA games
