Houston Rockets big man Christian Wood experienced it first hand on draft night when he never heard his name called and then his former girlfriend decided it was a good time to leave him at his lowest.
Fast forward a few years and the big man signed a three-year, $41-million contract with the Houston Rockets and now has a new girlfriend. Unfortunately, there is drama with the new relationship.
His girlfriend, Maya Benberry, recently took to Instagram and fired back at her former friend and Bad Girls Club star Janelle over accusations that she stole the Rockets star from an ex-friend.
“Basically long story short Maya is saying she never stole Christian from anyone she considered to be a friend and she is assuming the story was sent in by her former friend #BadGirlsClub star Janelle to make her look bad.”
Her former friend, @badgirljanelle, jumped in the comments and fired back.
“U own your “truth” but then proceeded to lie. Nobody in the world plays victim better than Maya Benberry. This girl LIED ON ME and got caught. But I got the receipt to break the internet and show how low she will really go to make the world think she’s innocent.
So I suggest the maya burner accounts and her “friends” (that she talked about) stop playing with me on the internet.”
