Steph Curry was on a tear against France, although his shots didn’t start falling until the final minutes of the game. The four-time NBA champion was the focal point of Team USA’s final four possessions.

They all ended in Curry’s 3-pointers, putting the nail in the coffin for France and sending American fans into a frenzy.

Team USA got the 98-87 win over the hosts to get their fifth consecutive gold medal. Curry played 29:37 minutes and made a big impact for his team.

Devin Booker and Kevin Durant scored 15 points each, becoming the second-best scorers on the team. LeBron James contributed 14 units and 10 assists for this star-studded squad.

NBA stars have showered Steph Curry with praise since the Olympic tournament semifinals

Just like he does in the NBA, Steph Curry amazed a lot of people with his performances in the last two Olympic games for Team USA.

As soon as he started getting hot against Serbia, young stars like Ja Morant and Paige Bueckers sent messages to Curry, reacting to his heroics against the semifinal opponents.

Today, after he led Team USA to the gold medal, more stars joined the celebrations and sent more messages to Curry.

Players like Damian Lillard, Kevin Garnett, Donovan Mitchell, Jordan Clarkson, Dwight Howard, Dejounte Murray, Kyle Kuzma and more were in awe of Curry’s performance.

Curry has been one of the greatest players of this generation and he doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon. Despite the Warriors’ struggles to be competitive again, the veteran point guard remains the biggest card they have to challenge for an NBA championship in the short future.

Following the departure of Klay Thompson, they’re expected to struggle against an improved Western Conference, but as long as they have Curry, they’ll always have a chance.
