The NFL Holiday schedule has leaked ahead of the league’s full-schedule reveal.

There are plans for the NFL to unveil the 2024 schedule in its entirety on Thursday night, but multiple leaks have popped up online detailing the fixtures for Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Christmas, with the league having announced that there will be football on Xmas Day this year despite it falling on a Wednesday.

The first NFL Thanksgiving game was played in 1934 and has remained a tradition, barring the pause caused by World War II. Fans already know that the Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys play every time the holiday comes around, and they will both host a game this year.

Opponents are picked carefully to ensure proper rotation for the Thanksgiving evening fixture, which typically features playoff contenders.

The NFL Holiday Schedule For 2024

According to the leaks, the Lions will host the Chicago Bears on Thanksgiving in what should be a mouthwatering fixture pitting a resurgent Detroit team that went all the way to the NFC Championship Game against the team boasting first-overall pick Caleb Williams. The game is reportedly set for 12:30 PM ET on CBS.

The Cowboys will play host to the New York Giants at 4:30 PM ET on Fox, with the Green Bay Packers to host the Miami Dolphins at 8:20 PM ET as part of an NBC broadcast.

The Cowboys and Giants squared off on Thanksgiving two years ago, with Dallas coming out on top (28-20).

The Dolphins will be playing their first Thanksgiving game since 2011, while the Packers enjoyed one of their most satisfying wins of the season on Thanksgiving Day last year as they beat the Lions 29-22.

Black Friday football was a first for the NFL in 2023. The New York Jets lost to the Dolphins in a fixture broadcast on Amazon Prime. This time around, the Las Vegas Raiders will play away to the Kansas City Chiefs in what’s expected to be a tasty AFC West showdown.

The NFL Holiday schedule leaks also reveal that the Baltimore Ravens will be playing the Houston Texans in a divisional-round rematch from last year, with the Pittsburgh Steelers game vs. the Chiefs having leaked earlier today.

Both of these games are set to stream exclusively on Netflix.
