Madden San Miguel, the 11-year-old internet sensation otherwise known as “Baby Gronk,” has “flipped” his “commitment” just days after committing to Ohio State.

Baby Gronk announced his intention to play for the Buckeyes on Saturday, although he’s still many years away from college. But with hardly a week gone, he’s already flipped to their rivals, Michigan.

His commitment wasn’t a legitimate one, of course. The Buckeyes never offered BG a scholarship, so he’s popped off to the Wolverines.

“BABY GRONK FLIPS TO MICHIGAN ! CLASS OF 2031,” he announced via his Twitter/X account on Tuesday.

In case you were wondering, Michigan hasn’t offered him a scholarship either.

The tweet has been checked by X’s community notes, which read: “Baby Gronk has not been offered by Michigan; as such, his commitment is not binding in any way. He has also verbally committed to Oregon, LSU, and Ohio State in recent years.”

Fans Are Tired of Baby Gronk’s Antics

Madden isn’t the one doing all of this; his father, Jake San Miguel, runs his social media accounts and promotes him.

While the kid seems to have fun playing football, his interviews are all cringeworthy as it’s not hard to tell he’s being told what to say.

Fans have been calling Jake out for being an influencer and promoter more than a parent.

“what you are doing has to be classified as child abuse at this point,” one wrote under the Michigan post.

“Stop making your son a meme this is disgusting and sad,” another demanded. “He deserves better than this. You are his father how do you not see the negative impact?

“You’re ruining your child’s future for your own benefit you should be ashamed of yourself,” a user wrote.

Baby Gronk has committed to seven college programs since last July. Let’s wait and see where he flips to next.
