The basketball world is praying for Philadelphia 76ers starting forward Kelly Oubre Jr. tonight.

According to reports, the 27-year-old was struck by a car while walking near his house in Philadelphia. He was taken to a local hospital, where he is receiving treatment and said to be in stable condition.

Representatives from the team, including 76ers President Daryl Morey, are with Oubre Jr., at the hospital. He is expected to miss significant time due to his injuries, but those aren’t considered to be season-ending. Local authorities are investigating the incident.
