Cincinnati Bengals star wide receiver Tee Higgins remains a top trade candidate as offseason training camp draws closer.

Before the 2024 NFL Draft last month, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Tee Higgins and star pass-rusher Trey Hendrickson both requested trades. Though Cincinnati is keen on keeping both, de facto GM Duke Tobin is always just one can’t-refuse offer away from signing off on a move.

Higgins was assigned the franchise tag after completing his four-year rookie contract. Since a long-term extension already feels unlikely, the Bengals could easily decide to trade Higgins rather than lose him for nothing in free agency next year.

One team that stands out as a logical landing spot for Tee Higgins is the Denver Broncos. They are in the early stages of a giant rebuild after this offseason’s departures of Russell Wilson, Jerry Jeudy, and Justin Simmons, but Higgins can still be part of the long-term picture in Mile High City.

Denver used the No. 12 pick of 2024 on Oregon quarterback Bo Nix. But outside of one-time 1,000-yard receiver Courtland Sutton, the Broncos don’t have any proven playmakers to help Nix in the short-term future.

A two-time 1,000-yard receiver, Tee Higgins could easily flourish as the WR1 in Denver after playing second-fiddle to Ja’Marr Chase in Cincinnati for three years. And at just 25 years of age, Higgins can be a long-term piece of the puzzle in Denver.

What Broncos Should Offer Bengals For Tee Higgins

The Broncos need to keep their early-round picks after selling the farm for Russell Wilson in a trade that completely backfired.

Denver should offer their 2025 third-round draft choice and a 2026 fourth-round pick to Cincinnati for Higgins. That would be a nice return for the big-bodied receiver, especially considering that the Bengals have a nice track record of finding hidden gems in the later rounds of the draft.

BREAKING: Chiefs First Round Draft Pick WR Xavier Worthy Was The Victim Of A Serious Crime

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy just got the worst welcome to his new career.

Worthy had his car stolen Wednesday night.

Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio revealed that the Kansas City Chiefs confirmed it was stolen from Worthy’s apartment complex overnight.

There was no carjacking, and no one was hurt, according to Florio. He mentioned that one source believes it was carried out by a bunch of professional criminals who “knew exactly what they were doing.”

No one was injured during the theft. “The car was simply stolen,” Florio wrote.
