BEN Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s daughter Violet has put her foot down regarding mask mandates and revealed her scary health condition.

The 18-year-old spoke at a city board meeting in Los Angeles on Tuesday, about the lack of mask mandates in the city’s hospitals.

In her speech, Violet, who is the eldest child of exes Ben, 51, and Jennifer Garner, 52, opened up about her health issues after contracting a post-viral condition.

A clip from the meeting was shared on X, in which she says, while wearing a facemask, “Hi, Violet Affleck, Los Angeles resident, first-time voter. I’m 18. I contracted a post-viral condition in 2019.

“I’m OK now, but I saw first-hand that medicine does not always have answers to the consequences of even minor viruses.

“The Covid-19 pandemic has thrown that into sharper relief.”

A post-viral condition, also known as long Covid, occurs after a viral infection, per the Mayo Clinic.

Symptoms can include fatigue, lethargy, memory loss, inability to focus, and exhaustion, and can potentially go on for months.

VIOLET’S PLEA

“One in 10 infections leads to long Covid, which is a devastating neurological and cardiovascular illness that can take away people’s ability to work, see, move and even think,” Violet continued.

“It stands to exacerbate our homelessness crisis, as well as the suffering of many people in our city. It hits communities of color, disabled people, elderly people, trans people, women, and anyone in a public-facing essential job the hardest.”

The teenager then urged the board to make masks mandatory in medical facilities and other public places where Covid could spread.

“To confront the long Covid crisis, I demand mask availability, air filtration and far-UVC lights in government facilities, including jails and detention centers, and mask mandates in county medical facilities.”

She added, “We must expand the availability of free tests and treatment, and, most importantly, the county must oppose mask bans for any reason.

“They do not keep us safer. They make vulnerable members of our community less safe and make everyone less able to participate in Los Angeles together. Thank you,” Violet concluded.

Violet has often been seen sporting a medical mask, including when she attended Michael Rubin’s White Party last year with her dad, Ben, and his current wife, Jennifer Lopez, 54.

She took photos with the other celebrities at the bash, donning a white face mask to match the theme.
