Kelce has ditched the mustache that he wore last season and during this year’s training camp, instead opting to return to a full beard.

He also grew his hair out a bit, getting some volume on top instead of rocking the buzz cut.

Kelce sported his No. 87 jersey in the pictures and wore vibrant red and yellow gloves to match the Chiefs’ colors.

The New Heights podcast’s X account reposted the photos with a caption reading “Alright nah,” with a fire emoji.

Fans were thrilled to see the pictures, especially Swifties who claimed Kelce had a “glow up” in the offseason.

“Look at that glow up! #inhisswiftera,” one fan said.

“My first season of cheering him on!!! My fav NFL player and team now!!!” another fan said.

“Good luck on a great season!!” a third fan said.

“What a gorgeous man!” a fourth fan said.

“Travis Kelce is the GOAT,” a fifth fan said.

Going into his 12th year in the NFL, Kelce already has an argument to be one of the best tight ends in history.

He has over 11,000 receiving yards, the fourth most among tight ends of all time.

Kelce’s 74 touchdowns are tied for fifth all-time with Dallas Cowboys legend Jason Witten.

He still has this year and next season on his contract to continue to boost his numbers, but Kelce is at least a surefire pick for the Hall of Fame after he retires.

Why is the NFL allowing players to wear Guardian Caps?

The NFL announced in April that players will be allowed to wear extra protective headgear in games to increase player health and safety.

They are designed to reduce the risk of head injury in high-impact collisions and were introduced in practice in 2022 – leading to a 50 percent reduction in concussions.

The NFL says that they can reduce the force from head contact by 10 percent if one player is wearing it, and 20 percent if all players involved are wearing them.

“We now have two years of data showing significant concussion reductions among players who wear Guardian Caps during practice so players will be permitted to wear the cap during games this upcoming season,” said NFL executive Jeff Miller.

“Additionally, there are new helmets this year that provide as much – if not more – protection than a different helmet model paired with a Guardian Cap.

“These developments represent substantial progress in our efforts to make the game safer for players.”

NFL players will have 12 new helmets – including eight that are made specifically for linemen and quarterbacks – to choose from next season.

Last year, Kelce broke his streak of seven 1,000-yard seasons in a row. He just missed the mark with 984 yards after sitting out the final game of the season.

He will look to break the 1,000 yard threshold again this season as the Chiefs go for a historic Super Bowl three-peat.

They won the big game in the last two seasons, and are looking to become the first team in NFL history to win three in a row.

The Chiefs are the favorite once again to win the Super Bowl this year, and will look to prove oddsmakers right and complete the three-peat.
