San Francisco quarterback Brock Purdy has been pretty heroic since slotting in as a starter for the NFC outfit during the 2022 season, and he’s taken his heroism off the field ahead of next season.

The QB recently recalled an incident where he saved a CBS reporter whom a large coyote was stalking.

The Niners are preparing for their mandatory minicamp, which takes place from June 4 to 6 and will bring an end to their offseason program. They will then break before heading to training camp in July.

This year’s session will mark Purdy’s first, though it’s his third year with the team. He couldn’t attend as a rookie as he was the last overall pick – his elbow injury kept him out last year as it required offseason surgery.

Purdy has been keeping busy and has even saved someone from an attack this offseason. You can hear him speak to Pat McAfee about it in the video below:

Brock Purdy Had A Record-Setting Season For The Niners

Teams typically use their minicamps to help foster chemistry between QBs and wide receivers, so Brock Purdy should be looking forward to it.

The signal-caller is fully healthy again, having fired the Niners to the Super Bowl last season, and has established himself as the starter under center moving forward. He set a franchise record with 4,280 passing yards, throwing for 31 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.

Purdy has also tied the knot following his eventful season with San Francisco, and it appears he has a lot going on to keep him occupied until the 2024 campaign.

The 49ers are the current betting favorites to win the Super Bowl next year, with the Kansas City Chiefs right behind them in such regard. As to whether they can match expectations is something else entirely, but they have every chance with Purdy.
